So for today's song and video, I had something completely different planned. Well, same song, different scene. But as I started working on it, I just couldn't get into a good groove. The scene and the music just weren't vibing like I thought they would.
So, I did what any sane person would do in the middle of the work day: scrapped the idea completely and started from scratch. It ended up involving downloading some free sprite sheets and doing some of my own custom sprite work, but it was worth it.
Ultimately, another plot point that I had been kicking around lent itself to the scene, and well...now that it is done, I'm really glad I shifted gears when I did! :D
