Today I have a bright, fun and upbeat tune with a bass line that sounds like it could be the opening for a sitcom from the 70s! (That sentence really rolls of the tongue Bert...)
I experimented a bit yesterday with my writing process, mainly with the drum and bass line, just to keep things fresh. The process went pretty well, and I'm happy with the resuls! Will definitely be trying that approach more in the future.
I didn't intend for this to be a port town song when I started, but as soon as I added the accordion to it that's all I could think of. Could also work great as a character theme. You know, for the quirky, 17 year old girl that punches like a mach truck. (Every game's gotta have one of those!)
An oceany, port town song, just in time for the holidays... I intend to do at least a couple of songs that are a bit more seasonal, let's see if I manage to pull that off haha!
