Alright, first post of the new year! As per usual, I really didn't know what kind of tune I was going to write going into this. As the song developed, it began to have some very "Holy" characteristics that I couldn't ignore.
Melody and structure wise, it's a bit more static than some of my other tunes, but it kind of felt right. Most of the B-Sections I tried to go into just weren't working to me, until I went into the section at 1:16 and gave the song a bit of motion. To top off the melody in that section I tried a Tori Amos style lick and boom, the song finally came together.
All in all, it turned out quite nicely I think! Hopefully you guys like it too.
