Today's tune is not a fancy one. It's not layered down with a ton of instruments, counter melodies, or syncopated rhythms. It's just a very peaceful, yet melancholy tune for those somber moments in your game.
So this was another exercise in restraint for me. The majority of the songs weight is carried by the guitar. In the latter half though I wanted to keep the ear interested so I added in some light strings and a cool sounding bell/chime. And that's honestly all there is too it really. But I had this on repeat for a while, and even after listen 100 it was still resonating pretty well, so that's a winner in my book!
