Well, ngl...after last weeks tune, I felt I had big shoes to fill. So yesterday I went around and around with a lot of different ideas. It was starting to get late in the day when I realized my desire to do something bigger and better than last week was preventing me from creating anything altogether.
I went with a mystical and ambient approach after I stumbled on the main harp line of this tune. This is a good example of the 80/20 rule, which is 80% of your results come from 20% of your efforts. The harp and the piano are my 20% in this tune, and everything else just works around that. It turned out pretty nice! Made me think of Machalania Woods from FFX. (I think that's how it's spelled...) Anyway...
