Today's tune is inspired by a track from Pseudoregalia. If you've never heard of it, but you're a fan of metroidvanias or old school 3D platformers....dude. Go check it out!
It's a short (but very sweet) indie game initially made for a game jam. It was so well received in that jam, that the dev expanded it and released a full game. Even though you don't hear about it as much as other games like Hollow Knight, Animal Well, Crow Country etc....it did VERY well and can serve as an inspiration for many of us up and coming game devs.
So anyway, today's track is inspired by one of the tunes from that. It's simple, and very spacey, but the ticking clock helps to stabilize things throughout...especially since some of the chord movement in the latter half is a bit unexpected.
