So a few weeks back, I did a FFXIII style song for my Tuesday post. I really liked the sound I got on it, and I wanted to do something in that vein again. So, viola! It ended up longer than I anticipated, mainly from getting the loop to work right (which just involved adding and extending sections).
The idea behind it is as you are walking through an ancient ruin, it starts to come to life, revealing the hi-technology that's actually hidden behind everything. It's a darker sounding tune, with lots of rhythmic elements that build up along the way. The idea that triggered the rest of the song is actually the high pitched note in the opening.
