I've always thought that the litrpg element doesn't make a story good or bad but it does influence your investment in the story. Personally I can only say that while I tend to enjoy litrpg stories (or at least not dislike them because they're litrpg) I think I would have liked these two chapters better without the RPG elements. I've always thought that the blue boxes and the numbers doesn't add anything to the story that the author couldn't produce with a bit more effort, a crutch if you will. And Mecanimus has proven that he is more than capable of painting an amazingly detailed and vivid picture with words. But from what I've seen from authors in the genre, maybe it helps to write quickly, and if Mec says it won't impact Ari her story then I believe him. Though I have to say, both of my favorite authors starting a new story within months of each other... And they're friends and interact with each other...

It was a very enjoyable read! Any idea as to how long the new story will be? I'm asking because LitRPGs tend to be longer than most stories and you made it sound like a bit of a side-project.
