Combat System WIP 1

I have worked some hours in the idea of the combat system and the game, this is how the combat will be.

 This is just a idea of how the combat can be, you are free to give you feedback and suggestions.

The combat will not be in the game so soon, between the updates i will reserve some hours working in the combat system.


The combat need to be:


-Fun

-A lot of different strategies.

-Each combat unit has weaknesses.

-no long battles


Each local that you can collect resources have the possibily to face enemies.

The initial areas are much less common to face enemies.


There is 2 battle zones:

-Inside Zone

-Outside Zone

Inside you can't use Aircrafts, Some types of robots and vehicles. (but there is possibily to have enemies vehicles).

Before the battle beginning you need to set where yours squads members,vehicles,aircrafts and robots will be in the battle zone.


(The battle system is 2D, but i will render the battlezones and units for top-view, will look better then this.)

The common size of the battle zone is 6x6, your squad can move in the first 3 rows.

You can only attack from front to back of the enemy, set the tanks and high defense squad member on the front line and place squad units in low defense in the back.

Each squad unit can only make a move: attack, move or use a consumable.

Some battlezone have some locations that give you some buff or debuff, the local can have a barricate, that boost the defense of the unit that is there. Or a building that give you a nice view of the enemy boosting the attack damage.

Some weapons can damage many enemies, the shoot of a tank can hit all a column of enemies, a grenade have a hit zone of 2x2, a cocktail molov have a hit zone of 2x2 and keep damaging the zone for a fews rounds.
