SKILL SYSTEM - EXPANSION

WARNING: THIS POST MAY RESULT A LITTLE LONGER, I DID MY BEST FOR MAKE IT AS SHORT AS POSSIBLE

Since the majority of the votes went to a skill system I want to expand its concept.

Skills take the place of the stats, in games stats are numerical values used for calculations but if one want to "translate" them into something more "real" than it's need to use some kind of misure unit, like kg for the strenght of a punch, with this in mind then skills with levels and descriptions are better then numerical stats, here some of the basic and starting ones:

> PHYSICAL SKILLS
This are the skills relative to the physical body, the minimum level are the same of a newborn baby while the max level represent the apex that the body can reach:
- Strenght, represent the muscular strenght, since speed is something achieved thanks to the muscles of the legs then strenght involve physical speed too.
- Disease Resistence, represent the ability not only of not be infected by a desease but too the ability of resist a disease after being infected.
- Recovery, represent the ability of recovery from injuries, tiredness and other similar conditions.
- Perception, represent the 5 senses we have, here I made a single skill but in truth it would be more accurate have one for each sense, the reason for have 5 different ones is because in the time our senses get "stronger" or "weaker" compared to the others like one that have good ear but have problem on smell things.

> MENTAL SKILLS
This are the skills one obtain from the mental abilities:
- Memorize, represent the ability of memorize and recall such knowledge.
- Calculation, represent the ability of make mental calculations.
- Intelligence, represent the elaboration speed of a person, basically represent its ability of think fast.
- Wisdom, represent the ability of someone of make logic thoughs, use common sense and understand what one can or can't do
- Learning, represent the ability of learn things, can seems stupid but different people have different way and speed in learn something, the higher the skill the faster one is.
- Mental Resistence, represent the strenght of the mind toward effects that can interfere with mental process, like physical or emotional pain.

> OTHER SKILLS
I'll not make a list of things here because it would be too long so let's say that things like "sewing", "cooking" and "cleaning" can be put here, basically here end all the skills that can't be considered "physical" or "mental".

Now... lets talk of how obtain other skills and evolve them.

Previously I said that skill can be purchased in the shop of the system but they can, in some way, be obtained in other ways but lets see all of them:
- Shop, purchased like any type of goods, the most easy and fast way for obtain them.
- Learning, some skills can be unlocked after obtain the relative basic knowledge and understanding, for example one that practiced swordmanship will have that as skill, the same way is that if one learn it from someone else then the skill will be ulocked.
- Transfer, the skill is take by something (items like the classical consumable in games) or someone (the skill is gave from a being to another), for example absorb energy from a crystal able to generate lightning can transfer the "Lightning Generation" skill.
- Borrowed, this skills are binded to something one have and that can be removed, items that give skills when equiped and blessings fall in this category.

After all of this one last topic remain and is "derivation" and "evolutions".

> DERIVATION
They are skills were a new skill is created from an already present skill and the original one, for a reason or another, is not lost, for example in the case of "Perception", a skill that use the 5 senses, if one learn to detect magical energy and obtain the skill "Magical Perception" it would make no sense that you loose the previous skill and this mean loose all the 5 senses too.

> EVOLUTION
They are skills that transform changing from one to another, when this happen the original skill is lost and is replaced and integrated by the "upgraded" version.
The evolution case is more complicated because various skills can evolve in different ways.

The conditions for a skill to evolve depend on the possible number of evolutions but let me use 2 example for give the idea:
- "Fire" evolve into "Holy Fire" or "Undead Slayer Fire"
Fire is a basic skill where the user throw fire, the condition for evolve it into "Holy Fire" is that of infuse sacred energy into the fire and use it various times while for evolve the skill into "Undead Slayer Fire" the same fire skill must be used for kill in succession a certain number of undead monsters.
- "Strenght" evolve into "Superhuman Strenght" or "Supernatural Strenght"
Strenght refer to physical strenght, for evolve the skill into "Superhuman" one need to basically break the limit and a condition that require this can be destroy an high number of enemies using only physical strenght or use some medicine that break artificially the limit, instead for obtain the "Supernatural" one the user basically need to gain some kind of supernatural strenght that surpass the human limits.

I talked of various things and here the last one, before I said that skills have level but what are this? well, is basically what we all know as mastery mechanic where usually one use a skill a certain number of times and then the skill level up becoming stronger but, like rise the level of a character, the more one advance the more EXP one need and the skills are not saved from this downside, personally the system like I though come out with some "backdoor" for increase the skill level so I wonder... what do you think are this backdoors that my mad mind created?
