2018-02-17 12:50:24 +0000 UTC19:30 Wait, it's the opposite. His father didn't want to surrender. He wanted to fight until the very end. Suzaku killed him because he thought a quick surrender would equal fewer deaths. The adults lied for Suzaku which gave his dad that surrender reputation.
