Man every single character they introduce i end up liking so much how can a show do that?!

Apparently, in the Manga, they showed not only the Abuse that Kanaos Parents showed her and her Siblings in the Anime ( Punches in the Face and such) they even tryed to drown there Children if they did anything that the Parents disliked ( and that was literally anything) So, due to the abuse she endured before meeting the Kocho sisters, she broke psychologically, becoming an empty shell who is unable to make decisions by herself and repressed her emotions as a defense mechanism. ( Shows with no Emotions when her Parents sold her into Slavery). This Breakdown was shown very good in the Anime, i think ( symbolized with the Snapping Rope) It is also noted that the hairpin Kanao wears was one of Kanae's.
