I have watched several sports related anime and have never heard a slow opening from any of them. The reason is the fact that the openings of anime is to set the tone of the arc, as I am sure you know. In sports you don't have the time to sit back and just look back at your failures when you loose a big game. You must get back to the grind to improve yourselves and learn from those mistakes to get better to go further. You just can not stay down long and continue to be good. So the upbeat openings are to show that despite the setback they are still moving forward. Oh one last thing.. that is NOT Kenma's hair you see. It is Kuroo.
