When Maki says "someone who is stronger than me", it's a tall hurdle ngl. It makes sense IMO, from relationship POV due to obvious reasons in relation to sex etc

Well, as we can see from his slice-of-life fantasy, Todo could definitely star in his own anime. A high-school sports anime with him and Yuuji - no fighting and powers involved - would still be fantastic, and that is how you can tell he's a great character.
