my thoughts going into 2023

yo mini-matts!

i want to wish you all a very happy new year, and talk a little about my thoughts on my 2022 and how i feel going into 2023.

i think that 2022 was a mixed bag for me. i won't lie, i lacked motivation quite a lot at times in 2022 to create covers, record videos and post to spotify etc. it's not that i don't enjoy creating music anymore, it's more that i struggled to organise myself as well as i used to. i got distracted quite a lot and would leave things until late, which would result in me not wanting to do it as much the next week.

i made a list of goals that i wanted to achieve in 2022, and failed some, but got to tick some others off as well. i'm not sitting here disappointed in myself or anything, but i'm actually happier with some of the things that i did achieve, that i didn't expect i would. and this is what i want to say to you all that did make goals, but maybe didn't achieve them all. it's not something that you should guilt trip yourself over, because life fluctuates so much that it sometimes makes some of your goals impossible, or invalid by the end of the year. but if you are feeling negative emotions regarding your 2022 and how it turned out, then i want you to think of what you did achieve this year. it doesn't have to be what's on that list from 365 days ago, but other highlights that you made over the past year. 

i'm going to learn from 2022, and use my experience from it as a foundation to better my 2023. but most of all, i wish to end 2023 with health and happiness. that's what's most important after all. and i do think that i've achieved that this year. a massive factor in that green tick of a goal is you guys. a lot of you have continued to support me on here throughout 2022, and a lot of you are new supporters from sometime over the past year. thanks to you, i get to work on myself and aspire to create better content than i ever have, and dedicate all of my time and energy to it. but most of all you allow me to look after my dog as much as he requires me to lmao. thank you for that.

i'll stop rambling on now, but i just thought that some of this might help some of you regarding the new year changeover.
