Weekend in Denver
Added 2021-06-23 01:03:06 +0000 UTCInstead of going to Amarillo for Fatherโs Day, my brother and I decided to bring my dad and stepmom to Denver for weekend! Theyโve been dying to get out of town and it was so nice to get a few days with them.
We also got to finally meet my brotherโs boyfriendsโ family, and we spend a couple days with them too, which was the icing on the cake. This pic below is from Sunday at Top Golf. Holy fun times!
I also went out Sunday night with Marshall (my bro) and his bf, Brandon, to the gay bars and i apparently thought I was in my 20s still because I drank all day and night. ๐ Needless to say, Monday was spent very hungover. But we did drive up to Estes Park and unbeknownst to me, thatโs where The Stanley hotel is, which is the hotel from The Shining.
Today, Iโm driving to Amarillo with my pops and stepmom so I can see some friends and fam there for a few days. We stopped on the way at Bishops Castle, which is a castle that has been Iโm the works since 1969. Was so cool to see it!
All in all, itโs been a damn good weekend. I am ready to get home and see the hubs, but am trying to enjoy being in the moment with loved ones. After a year and a half of very limited social time, being out this much is rather exhausting! ๐
