World/Region Assets - Deios Update is now Live

The post today has been in the works for 3.5 months or so as I have worked through the design, drawing and colouring of around 3000+ assets for Project Deios!
Today though, a big chunk of those assets, what we are calling the base assets, are going live (around 500+ assets, split into 5 packs). If you were a Kickstarter backer or if you have bought Project Deios you can now download the new update and start using the assets in the program right now 🙂
Additionally if you were a Kickstarter backer, you will have access to the PNG’s through Kickstarter today and later on you will be able to grab them from the DGNFOG account manager.

I also thought it would be nice to say thank you to Artisan Tier Patrons and above for sticking around and being patient while I worked on these. So there will be a post just after this one with a 50% Off Code that you can use on the website, this code will apply to your entire basket so go nuts and grab them all but this code will only be available for 14 days :)
If you love these PNG assets and want to get hold of the rest as they are released regularly going forwards they will be available to purchase on my website at the same time as they are released for Project Deios (which should be at the end of every month, roughly for the following year or so).
Quick note: After Project Deios is officially released I will then take a step back and consider whether to fold these assets into the patron tiers or to support other mapmaking programs but for now, as these were made specifically for Project Deios I won't make any decisions on that just yet.

2022-11-12 15:35:32 +0000 UTCProject Deios was a Kickstarter I was a partner of and helped fund a few years back. I pledged to make a lot of assets for the KS and recently as the program started cementing its features I sat down to make the assets I said I would. The assets for sale on my website are similar in some respects to my other older sketch assets packs, at least for the base packs however not only are they fully coloured but also twice the size and resolution. As for why they are not being released on the patreon right now, and are instead being sold only on the website is because the original agreement I had with Project Deios was to start selling these only after the project was finished. I spoke with Till (Who is making PD) and he recently agreed that I could start selling the PNG assets early on my site. Hopefully this clears a few things up, sorry if I glossed over or omitted some of this info in the original post.

2022-11-12 12:40:29 +0000 UTCApologies if i'm being an old man but I'm a little lost on this; So, honest criticism here, as somebody who's bought -nearly everything- before as loose assets for Wonderdraft (some cartographer site, i forget where)- and it being the reason I found/joined the patreon in the first place, It's really hard to tell what is new to utilize the code here. I very much want to support the work, and could really use all these amazing assets. I really would appreciate a more in-depth explanation of what's new, like, I had to google what Project Deios even was, so, are these going to be released on the patreon as just stand-alone assets? What's the play; Just really confused as to what to do here, I feel like right now i'd be throwing money (which i to be clear, absolutely don't mind, your work is literally some of if not the best in the business, imo) and hoping i get the right products and them not be things I don't already have somewhere.
