I stood at the window in nothing but silk and moonlight.
I was restless. Burning under the skin. My magic, always cool and still, now shimmered with tension β humming, begging, aching.
The fox inside me stirred.
It started in my breath β sharper, quicker. Then my skin, alive with sensation, every inch tingling beneath the silk of my nightdress. My fingers curled as heat surged up my spine, like something wild had been caged too long.
I stepped back from the window and let the change begin.
Fur kissed my skin, soft and pale as snow. My senses sharpened β ears flicking at the sound of ice shifting outside, tail curling behind me, hips narrowing, then widening again as the shape took hold.
But I didnβt fight it.
I lay back on the bed of white furs, half-princess, half-creature, and let my hands explore the skin I no longer recognized. Every touch sent sparks through me β a different kind of magic now. One that made my back arch and my thighs tighten, one that had nothing to do with snowstorms or spells.
I slipped my fingers between my legs, slow and curious. My breath caught β the sound of it raw in the quiet of the room. I moved in slow circles, then deeper, hips rising, tail curling tighter as I chased the burn that had haunted me all evening.
I moaned softly, the sound more animal than girl.
My magic pulsed β cold air swirling as I came undone, trembling, fur shivering, pleasure rippling through both forms at once.

The castle door creaked open.

He said nothing. Just watched.
And I let him.
He undressed slowly. His body was carved like winter β lean and strong, scarred by storms. When he came to me, I arched for him without shame. His hands replaced mine, his mouth replaced breath, and I took him inside me with a cry that melted the frost off every window in the room.
He moved like instinct. Like destiny. Like a creature who had waited just as long as I had.

We took each other over and over, in the flicker of firelight and moonlit shadows, shifting between forms, between breaths, until there was no difference between princess and fox, between man and beast, between magic and desire.
When we finally collapsed β tangled in fur and skin and heat β I kissed the hollow of his throat and whispered,
