I figure it'll sink in and next time I get around to it it will come out better! Thanks for your advice!

Thanks Theo!

The final version is much improved over the first cut, thanks Reece. One "Konstabler-wash" has escaped your scrutiny, but hey, it happens. I am pleasantly surprised that you can indeed pronounce the "ach" sound correctly (which not many English native speakers outside of Scotland can). Next time, you can apply this ability to the name "Offenbach" as well. Also, "Konstablerwache" and "Hauptwache" would profit further (for next time ...) from the "Karls-ru-he" treatment: the final "e" isn't silent but forms its own syllable: "Haupt-wa-che". There are very few silent vowels in German. We love vowels. (Which may surprise some people because of the cliché that German is just consonants; it's not [Croatian, anyone? That's a lot of consontants. Who calls an island "Krk"? The Croatians.].) Just FYI, I mentioned previously that "Wache" means "watch" (in the sense of the time that you are responsible to watch over something, not a device you wear on your wrist), and that's not wrong; however, the "Wache" in this case (both of them) refers to a building where a guard or police force of some kind is stationed. To this day, a police station is called "Polizeiwache" in German.
