The lights dimmed around him as the profiles went by. His reflection in the glassy phone screen seemed a little off—softer jaw, longer lashes, but he barely glanced. Swipe. Left. Another pulse. His shirt felt tighter across his chest.
Finally, the app stalled.

He blinked. A new profile appeared. Same kitchen. Same eyes. Same expression. But the wolf staring back was unmistakably the feminine version of him.
He touched his face. His voice—silent, caught in his throat.
