REMINDER: Set a monthly max for pledges!
Added 2017-07-31 16:55:31 +0000 UTCI've been losing a lot of patrons and that may be because they don't know they can set monthly contribution caps. If this sounds like you, follow the instructions on this help page and you can limit the number of times per month that you contribute.

2017-07-31 21:26:38 +0000 UTCI set my monthly max from the start, but I'd honestly rather see it just do a monthly because its lazier on my side (I'm lazy, what can I say). And it also tends to get past people who overlook the monthly max thing or get confused by it.

2017-07-31 17:53:36 +0000 UTCYea the per video thing can be a big issue since some creators do it that way and some are per month. If your new to using the service you can easily misinterpret the setting and end up paying alot more then you expected.

Also $2 per video over a month combined with other donations to other youtubers can add up to be a fair bit for some people so i guess if they didnt realise then saw they owed more than they thought they may leave rather than honor the pledge. Just a thought.
