FM24 "Increase-Realism"-Megapack APRIL EARLY-ACCESS (29.03.24)

I’m happy to present you my next update!

There was no change compared to the ALPHA

What’s included in this months update?
There are 5 new files in total:

Daveincid’s BLUE STARS FIFA YOUTH CUP

This is a youth tournament which is held yearly in Switzerland wihere some of the biggest Clubs worldwide taking part. The file was part of DaveTheEditor’s FM23 files and he gave me the permission to continue the files for FM24.

Daveincid’s PRE-SEASON CUPS

This file adds several pre-season cups to the game:

- International Champions Cup

- Audi Cup

- Florida Cup

- Trofeu Joan Gamper

- Uhrencup

- Emirates Cup

- J. League World Challenge

- Trofeo Teresa Herrera

The file was part of DaveTheEditor’s FM23 files and he gave me the permission to continue the files for FM24.

Daveincid’s BARCELONA SALARY FIX

This file corrects some of Barca’s player salaries. According to the latest financial reports, the total salary-costs of Barcelona is much higher as it’s represented in the game. In longterm-saves, this leads to Barcelona swimming in money while in reality they are struggling. It’s a bit of a complex mechanism but this way I was able to balance Barcelona much more realistic.

Daveincid’s GERMAN II TEAMS FIX

I had to check first if this file is also needed in FM24. Long story short: It’s still helpful.

What’s the problem? If you are playing with a german lower league file, II-teams of Bundesliga clubs tend to dominate their division and after a couple of ingame years, the 3rd division is often dominated with much more II-teams as it should. This file reduces the strength of II-teams without hardcoding any rule which would prevent them from promotion.

Daveincid’s FRANCE OVERSEAS TERRITORY FIX

This file fixes a bug where french overseas territories such as Guadeloupe or French Guyana can’t field all their players while playing in the french cup. So it makes playing in one of those overseas territories more of a pain than joy. With this file, all players are able to play the french cup and especially «build a nation» in those nations can be very entertaining.

Plans until public release:

1. I've starterd a XXL-simulation with all league-files of MasterIgor. The save will be uploaded as soon as it's in year 2038 - next week

2. I expected that the final update of Football Manager would drop this week, as it was last year so I could check everything already in the April update. It didn't. This means that this will be part of the May update among other planned improvements. There won't be any changes for the public release next week in case the official update is released.
