There were issues reported with the performance improvement file which resetsthe league system in Belgium to an old system (light version works fine). I recommend using the light version only.

Hello everyone!

I am very excited to present you my next update!

This month the focus was on 3 topics.

The performance, balancing problems of player personalities in long-term saves and….a fully working FIFA U17 World cup including all continental competitions aswell!

FOR BETA-Users:

There are no changes compared to the BETA, however I have now inlcuded the old«performance improvement»-file from an older update in a separate folder. Use that file in case you’ll get error messages when creating a new save-game (missing teams in league XY). This happens when you’re using a lower league file which isn’t on my «list of files I recommend for FM24». The speed improvements will be smaller with that file but you won’t have any compatibility issues at all.

PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENTS:

The previous approx. 10% was not yet satisfactory for me. I turned everything upside down again and looked for ways to make the game even faster without compromising the quality. Result:

approx. 20% faster!

There is (probably) no more possible!

The only consequences for the compatibility of other league files concern the lower leagues in Argentina (MasterIgor) and Greece (pr0). These 2 files are no longer compatible.

All others work as usual. However, it may well be that league files that are not on my list will not be compatible (especially lower leagues).

If you do want to ensure that all lower league files are compatible, use the «performance improvement» file which I included in the separate folder and delete the other one.

PLAYER PERSONALITY IMPROVEMENTS:

This improvement was partially integrated into an existing file (staff attribute adjustments) and into a new separate file (player personality improvements)

About the problem:

In long-term saves, the player personalities are on average too strong - players increasingly become model athletes and there are fewer and fewer "enfant terribles". This makes squad management too easy in my opinion.

All of this has now been adjusted:

- players are less loyal to your club

- players demand more playing-time earier

- player demand better contracts more frequently

- mentoring is less effective

- players will argue more often with you about their little problems

- newgens will have a slightly worse personality by average when they appear in your youth team

 This is a first step towards making the game more challenging. More ideas for future improvements are already floating around in my head :D

FIFA U17 WORLD CUP

This file adds not just the U17 World Cup but also all continental competitions such as the U17 European Championship or the Africa U-17 Cup of Nations.

Place all files (not the folder) in "Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2024/editor data".
