Me and my proofreader discussed this for a while. My native language is spanish and using made up words to refer to things you like or hate as an expression of your individuality is more or less common here. The idea was that Auri had a very specific word for Katherine that represented both her hate for the skunk while at the same time not usuing generic words and being very personal of Auri. While the idea did not translate all that straightforward to english from spanish, we decided to go with it and see how the audiences react. If this doesn't seem to work all that well, we'll probably just drop any similar concepts in the future. Thanks for the feedback! It does help us a lot! :D
