FM23 "Increase-Realism"-Megapack FEBRUARY EARLY-ACCESS UPDATE (27.01.23)

Hello, everyone!

I know I've said that a few times before. But I've rarely been as excited as I was with this update! The scope is simply huge!

In total I've updated 12 files:*
*For BETA-Users:
NO CHANGES from Beta to Early-Access. I've just saved the files again so I stil recommend replacing the beta-files with the ones from early-access when starting a new career.

SOME OF MANY HIGHLIGHTS FOR THIS MONTH:

1. Realistic player development in all nations. From Anguilla to Zimbabwe:

I've been working on a new system between previous releases since the release of FM23, which should help me to make player development more realistic in all nations. And that's done now ;)

What exactly does that mean?

All nations have a similar strength even after 10-15 years. Logically, this varies by a few percent and depends on many dynamic situations, but the foundation is now stable. In many smaller nations, players develop far too slowly. The reason lies in the incomplete data entered in the database. It's a departure from my previous system, which was good, but this one is better ;)

I'll upload a test save with over 200 playable nations, which already contains some adjustments. Many nations have already been revised in terms of strength.

A few nations as examples: (Average Current Ability of the top 28 players)

Eritrea 2022: 68.5 (pre-game editor)

Eritrea 2036: (without mods): 47.67

Eritrea 2036: (with mods): 67.71

For example, Eritrea without mods is almost unplayable. Nations should be more or less in a similar range (maybe a variance of 5-10% in both directions are okay, but not more)

Bahamas 2022: 63.57

Bahamas 2036: (no mods): 41.85

Bahamas 2036: (with mods): 60.42

There are about 60 other nations that are developing too slowly (for no comprehensible reasons). That was now 2 examples :)

The adjustments also slow down nations that are overpowered, for example:

Thailand 2022: 103.71

Thailand 2036: (no mods): 121.31

Thailand 2036: (with mods): 107.21

There, too, there are around 30 nations that are developing too quickly (for no comprehensible reasons).

!IMPORTANT!

1. The results were obtained based on the uploaded save-game. This means that in saves where nations with few players (no real players in the db) are not loaded, the results can look much worse. This problem arises when there are too few real players in the database for nations. Setting such a nation as view-only or unloaded has a significant (negative) impact on that nation's strength.

2. The average age in national teams of smaller nations will be lower in the first 5-7 years. As already mentioned, the reason is the lack of real players in the database. This gets balanced as longer the save continues

But since it doesn't affect all nations by far, I will create db-setups in February, which will take this problem into account so that you can get the maximum benefit with the smallest possible league selection :)

2. Balanced finances:

The changes described above have a major impact on club finances. So I have adjusted these in all nations so that they are neither too rich nor too poor. As already mentioned, these can still change slightly as soon as all league files are released by DaveTheEditor, but I expect little or no adjustments, especially in very small nations.

3. Adjusted Transfer Preferences:

Something that already fascinates me in the uploaded save game. Due to the (in some cases) large changes in player strengths, the transfer market has also changed. I have now readjusted this in many nations in order to achieve an unprecedented degree of reality.

4. Countless miscellaneous adjustments

In addition to the highlights mentioned, there are, as always, countless small improvements!

As always, all files are included in the download link. So delete all previous files from the editor-data folder.
