I was having a fantastic Tuesday. Day off with no plans and the house to myself 😉 hopped up on endorphins all afternoon so I put on some music and tried on dresses from my closet for an upcoming banquet (Found it! and I did not look this good last time I put it on. Dayum! It was worth keeping in the closet for a couple years!) And then I got a phone call. My roommate's sister had a planned hysterectomy but it did not go as planned. They revived her but the family is taking turns staying with her and I'm taking care of her two kids for at least tonight. One is 10 years and the other is 6 months. I've been an Auntie to them since before they were born so at least they know me but staying away from home and without mom is not going to make it easy. Here's hoping Wednesday is better.

Good morning, all! I've finally been able to properly read through the thread this morning. Gael, sweetheart, I am so sorry for everything your family is going through :( Sending lots of virtual hugs and positive vibes your way! I've had a bit of a rough patch the past couple weeks as far as school goes. I wasn't in a good mental state, and that made me slack off, which only worsened my mental state. I think I've overcome it for now though as I was really productive yesterday! :) Now I have to play catch-up and hope I didn't do too much damage... I think what's helping this week is that we have more rehearsals than usual; no matter how tired or sick I am, rehearsals will ALWAYS make me feel better. Any theatre people in here will know that your castmates become your family. Anyway, happy Tuesday everyone! Remember to love yourself, and the people around you, today <3

Good afternoon here and evening/night/morning elsewhere. I had an off day and decided go be lazy. It's a gorgeous fall day here pretty mild and leaves falling all over the place. I know plenty of people who suffer from migraines. Hey there. Took a long walk in the chilly (lovely) autumn weather. Feeling optimistic since Dad is still slowly improving, and I'm going back to work on Wednesday. I miss everybody!! But for now I'm settling in with a book and a cup of tea.

My day is going ok. Honestly working the weekend was an absolute nightmare (the roof is leaking in the nursing home! I've never moved so many beds to different rooms or carried so many buckets for dripping water IN MY LIFE!!!) More staff during the week, so it's a little less hectic.

Hi Brigid! Yup, very very busy. I'm taking a full day off from recording today.. I worked ALL weekend getting stuff ready for Halloween and such.. My aunt is doing good :) The doctors are amazed by her! She's a really lovely woman! We are so happy!

Not too bad here...migraines out the wazzoo because of the weather, but other than that, nothing that I can really complain about. I hope this week brings you and your family some peace Gael, maybe it is time for you to listen to some relaxation audio, I am pretty sure all of us can recommend someone :) Just remember to take care of yourself during all of this...that is just as important. Hi Sage! She is doing better, she was moved out of intensive care so that's good. My first cousin died last week in England :( He was just 29 years old.. Same side of the family. I also had two family members rushed to hospital so it was a crazy ass week last week!
