Good Wednesday evening from California! I have so many celebrity crushes...Robert Pattinson was the most recent. Because I could probably snort a teensy bit of salt over the course of a day without giving myself a raging sinus infection. After a super-extra-busy week, I slept until 4 pm yesterday, then made everyone here some vegetables in korma sauce for dinner. Now I plan to relish my 9 remaining days off work by doing all the things I haven't had time for in a while: baking, stitching, gardening, reading, and maybe *finally* getting to the National Museum of the American Indian for more than just a quick meal with my girlfriends. My weekend is going great! I'm enjoying being outside doing my springtime yard work and a bit of landscaping and creative artwork. The Home To-Do list never ends, but I am so thrilled to be able to get out for now in the refreshing sunshine and open air minus the pollen, haha! I want to get as much stuff caught up as I can without pushing past my limits before I see my neurosurgeon in 17 days for my spinal issues. I admit I am fairly anxious about the high probability of surgery being the only treatment option to 'fix' the problems. The closer it gets, the more my anxiety and insomnia is kicking in. If I have to have neurosurgery, then so be it. Sooo...Me, I'm trying to stay as busy as possible without overdoing it by getting outside and throwing in some of my creativity to keep my mind off it and pacify myself. The last time I was ill prepared for toddlers in my house, it resulted in a ten year stain on my carpet when my cousins found some nail polish and tried to put it on by pouring the stuff on their hands and it spilled all over the white carpet.
