Flirting with humanity! I love that. I try to connect in this way with at least one person each day. It's so awesome to see their eyes come to life as they realize they're really being seen. It's so easy, too--I'll say, "I like your shoes," or "what a nice purse," (I usually only do this with other women, since I don't want to inadvertently encourage creepy dudes), and it always brightens my day just as much if not more than theirs. Your story was a nice reminder to connect with others. ❤

When southern is brought up, I always wonder which version people are asking for. I love listening to accents and of the ones I know, to me the questions always read like they're supposed to be more of a sweet Georgia peach version, but Gael's version comes out like Appalachian Tennessee mixed with Texas cowboy. ... but I'd LOVE to hear some gorgeous Louisiana creole.

Re: "Gaelforce" I understand your initial regret, I think, but... Not all forces of nature are harsh, aggressive, brutal. The patient, gentle action of water flowing over rock has the power to carve canyons. And at your best, you can be that water: effecting beautiful changes in the world simply by being what, who, & where you are, and by following the path that's right for you. (Sound grandiose? Look at your Sirens & read what we've written: you already have. Deal wit it, as you'd say.) Time, tides, the faithful return of the sun each day & each year are forces, too. I cannot get the phrase "flirting with their humanity" out of my mind. That is one of the most beautiful concepts - I love it. I wish we all did more of that. Sexual flirting is good, but someone flirting with your essence - your mind - so much better! Maybe that should be the focus of your podcast- flirting with people's humanity. ❤️
