Why did I have such a great weekend? My friend, Roni, I used to work with before I switched employers (for about 7yrs) came over and we had a blast. I think the thing that impressed me the most, though, was the tonal quality of the whole audio. MP3s are crap files that are so difficult to make sound good – it’s the reason why the hubby and I only ever DJ with CDs and not downloaded files. The richness you are creating here is excellent; the levels you have chosen, the filter work you are using as you edit, the use of different tracks – that is the art, my friend, and you should be proud of what you are creating. You are turning something that started as almost a lark into an avocation, something that can definitely stand on the professional level. I will say that I wasn't 100% sure whether the setting was supposed to be a house party or a meetup at a club. Suppose it could've been a rented club, so that works, but that then leaves my overly-cerebral brain wondering where on earth you ducked into for that. (The theory of a private property suggests that "the coat room" could've been someone's bedroom, and perhaps there was a convenient closet or bathroom nearby. But again, "in public" doesn't back that up.) Overall, I think the pride in this piece is warranted. The performance and the editing created the hushed, hurried vibe the caption suggests, and all entendre aside, it's a pleasant listen.

Update: Have listened twice (so far), first time while baking birthday cake for one of my girlfriends. Narrowly avoided hilarious audio-induced kitchen failures. I would love to chime in with how far beyond merely 'hot' this audio is (the lust-thickened voice! The commands! The sound mixing! The whole scenario!).
