Hallo to Claudia and the Fraugen! Ahh, back to the Fragen. After finally cleaning my home (yes, after months, it has happened!), it seems all is once again right with the world. And now, this: <b>The job for me</b> — Let's see...am I creating the job along with it, or only the title? 🤔 Well, on the conservative stance that I'm creating both, I think I would create "high-paid fiction-writing physicist." Because yes, the pay bracket matters. D: <b>The only real failure is when you stop trying</b> — The one thing I could never learn how to do was be in a romantic or sexual relationship. Turns out that's really hard to do when you don't feel those types of attraction. It's not that it can't be done; it's that it's a thousand times harder in a world that thinks 1) they're the same thing and 2) they're all that matters. <b>Patient Rey-Rey</b> — Oh Lawd, my patience is probably about a 3. I can handle some things reasonably well, but most things will result in a tirade from me before too long. <b>"I swallowed a bug!"</b> — On accident? Probably. On purpose? Definitely. It was some event at my friend's church where some guy brought back fried grasshoppers from one of his missions trips (no, I have no idea how he got them through customs). Everyone in my group of friends yakked at the thought of eating one, and so with a roll of my eyes, I grabbed one and tossed it in my mouth. Tasted like a very salty pretzel. I was hungry, so that didn't seem bad at all. <b>Laundry locale</b> — I'm lucky enough to have in-unit laundry (a major selling-point when I was purchasing my property), but I don't have a full room devoted to the washer and dryer. Instead, I have a pair of bifold doors to shut them in a closet. It's not my dream, per sé, but it's good enough.

Hi, Claudia! Hi, everyone! I just got off work, and after a straight week of work, I'm finally about to have a day off tomorrow! My respect for anyone who has to work hours like these has leaped over the Rockies. It's a tad humid on my end. Clear and starry, and quiet. I've been hearing frogs around now, but they're silent now. I'm sipping on camomile tea to help me sleep in a second. But fragen first! My least favorite thing about family gatherings? A possible argument/fight between family members. This happened twice before at a cookout over something small, and unfortunately drunkenness was a big factor. That's actually one reason I don't drink; I'm afraid to get drunk. One thing I'm always losing? My Wacom pen. More than my drawing pencils or my cellphone, if it's not in its stand, I lose it. It doesn't help that it's black and blends in to my wooden desk. Do I have a weird collection? ...Pokemon cards wouldn't count as weird, would it? Have I ever shared chewing gum with anyone? Nope.
