D: One of the pages I follow on social media, which hasn't posted in a while, suddenly became overrun with shared clickbait articles from a single source. I'm not sure if it's been hacked, or if this is an April Fool's joke played six days early. 🤔 And now, this: <b>Buttoning technique</b> — If I'm wearing the shirt, I always start from the top. If I'm folding or hanging it, I'll sometimes start from the bottom to ensure I've got everything aligned correctly. It's harder to tell when it's not on my body. <b>Walking and talking</b> — I don't typically pace while talking on the phone, but if it's a particularly nervewracking call—e.g., a phone interview—I will sometimes. Otherwise, I'm usually trying to make/take calls from my desk at work, so I'll stay still if I can. <b>DON'T GO IN THERE!</b> — I personally find basements to be creepier than attics. Probably something about the lack of natural light and the perceived weight of an entire house above you. <b>Midnight munchies</b> — I don't have midnight snacks, really, as I never wake up in the middle of the night hungry. However, I'll sometimes put off dinner until very late, and if I desire something after that dinner, it's usually something sweet like a cookie or a piece of fruit. Sometimes sour gummi bears. <b>Blood is thicker than water?</b> — Oh good grief. This is a decision I wouldn't be able to stomach either way, because my friends are very familial to me (and in fact, I suppose one technically counts as family since I'm the godmother of her children). For all my ranting against my parents, I do love them. But of course, if this isn't a <i>final</i> decision—e.g., "who are you having dinner with tonight?"—I may well choose my friends without regrets.
