Hallo to Claudia and the Fraugen! 'Twas a cool, rainy day here, too—which made it much easier leaving my home to get my hair cut at last. Now my hair is neatly off the back of my neck and lays properly all around. Much better, since the heat cranks up again tomorrow. 30ºC and counting... And now, this: <b>Getting physical!</b> — I never work out. I know this is horrible, but I can't sustain it on the diets that I do. Hopefully, September marks the end of any and all elimination diets, and I can stabilize my eating habits and find some sort of workout regimen that works for me. I have a friend who teaches Zumba at a gym that's literally less than 5 minutes from my home. I just may go to her classes if I can get my relationship with food under control. (This is a joke. Food and I will never be friends. It's too hard to clean up afterward.) <b>To wield a toothbrush</b> — I'm right-hand dominant, so I have to use my right hand if I want to get anything done. If I have to do something else while brushing my teeth, I'm actually better off executing the secondary task(s) with my left hand. <b>Donut du jour</b> — I miss donuts. I can't have them anymore. (We'll find out with the next biopsy if I can even have any type of vegan donut, as they are often gluten-free to boot and use garbanzo bean flour.) I especially enjoyed a good chocolate-covered long john with strawberry jelly filling. I almost <i>never</i> got to have them, and they remain my favorite. (I'd settle for a warm chocolate-glazed donut, though.) <b>Mistress of ____?</b> — Ooh, space could be much more promising. If I could arbitrarily contract or extend distances (like the tesseracts in <i>A Wrinkle in Time</i>), I wouldn't necessarily need time powers. I certainly don't want to go back in time and mess with things, on the chance that it would destroy the future. But I could also "squeeze into" tight spaces, fit my entire week's worth of luggage into a single carry-on bag...yeah. Space it is. <b>Frozen phone</b> — I usually attempt an emergency escape from whatever it is I was doing when it froze. Sometimes, this does mean tapping the screen over and over in an attempt to get the home key to respond.

I love G because His voice smiles. I used to hate it when my teachers paced in class while we were working. I would feel it long before I could see them and it was always so heavy and oppressive behind me, right above my shoulder. I love G because He replaced that with the feeling of the sun in my back.
