Chooseday Draw

Hallo, Frau Claudia and the rest of you hump day honeys!<br><br>T’was another long, challenging day for me, my good Frau 😓 Due to a mix-up, the movers that were supposed to come to my apartment this morning to carry out my old sofa bed and dresser never showed up. I’d already booked garbage removal for both items on Friday at 7 am, so they needed to be out by the curb side before then. Unfortunately I didn’t know if I’d be able to hire some other movers on such short notice, and the couple of friends I still have in the area aren’t physically capable of heavy lifting.<br><br>The landlady I was talking to today is a bit of a jerk, and she had this smug <i>"You’re fucked now!"</i> look on her face when she found out that the movers weren’t coming. This annoyed me so much that I resolved to drag my furniture out to the curb myself, solely for the purpose of wiping that shit-eating grin off her face.<br><br>It took me a decent amount of time, but I managed to drag my double sofa bed from my apartment to the elevator, and then hoist it onto a rusting hand truck that one of the other landlords let me borrow. From there I hauled it out to the curb (in the middle of a downpour, because fuck me tender, right?) and dragged it onto the grass.<br><br>The 6-drawer wooden dresser was heavier than the sofa bed - too heavy for me to drag more than a few inches at a time, and too long and unwieldy to maneuver it horizontally around corners. I ended up having to take all of the drawers out so that it was light enough for me to lift into a vertical position, hoist onto the hand truck, and then make the trip from my apartment down to the curb. After I dragged the damned thing onto the grass next to the sofa bed, I carried down the drawers and placed them back in the dresser.<br><br>I didn’t see the landlady again today, so I never got to rub her nose in my success. But holy shit, it was a tiring task and probably another "Need moar muscle!" cue from the universe 😞<br><br>As for the <i>Fragen</i>...<br><br><b>Allergies or nah?</b> I don’t think I’m allergic to bees or wasps. But hopefully that hypothesis won’t ever be put to the test 😯❌🐝<br><br><b>Most common music genre!</b> I’d say about &gt;75% of the music in my library is metal 🤘😎<br><br><b>Sonnenblumenkerne!</b> Wow, that sounds like a really fun word to say 😃 I occasionally eat sunflower seeds if they’re mixed into a salad, but I don’t really eat them raw.<br><br><b>Cringeworthy sounds!</b> I can’t stand the sound of:<br>- someone hocking a loogie<br>- someone swearing really loudly in public (especially if there’s children around)<br>- nails on a chalkboard/similar noises<br>- that shrill, ungodly screech of a crying toddler<br>- a balloon popping unexpectedly<br>- people talking excessively during a movie<br>- that <i>Psst!</i> sound that Pinay mothers make 😖

Guten Morgen Gaelandia. A nice Donnerstag to everyone. I´ m in a little rush, have to look what the kittens are up to. There are strange, clattering sounds in the shed...
