Oh how I miss Ireland 🇮🇪 cannot wait to be back there. County Cork was my absolute favorite. ❤️

I almost breezed right by this one but now i remember i wasnt seeing very well during this time and missed some of the beauty.. but DUDE you're a freakin ninja. The camera was just floating along and i didnt hear you actually walking until the end😳😂 Also, the quietude is amazing..I feel calmer than i did 4 minutes ago.♥🥰

It's very cool, despite the plethora of ruins I saw driving across Ireland it never ceased to amaze me either. Although, it kind of became a running joke . . . and off to your left, you'll see another majestic castle ruin. 😉 I'm mean, can you imagine if they'd had the money for the taxes and kept the roofs on so they were still intact? Y'all would be flush with castles. 🤓

I’m insanely claustrophobic and when I think “castle” I think “cold, dark, thick-walled” so I’d really love to see the outside and explore the grounds but who knows if I’d be brave enough to enter. Thanks for the tour Gael! I really appreciate all the sights you share with us. Also, I love castles, they're a fascinating glimpse into history. Might have to add that one onto the schedule for next summer. We have castle ruins a mile or so from us that I love to visit, formerly home to Lord Byron. I tried to go a few weeks back but there was a herd of cattle grazing around it, so best to leave them be.

Beautiful! I was lucky to have spent a month in Ireland last summer. Having a rental car enabled us to go to many places recommended by locals we met in pubs and our B&Bs. This reminded me of a morning we spent in Thomastown at Jerpoint Abbey. We had the entire place to ourselves. The feeling you get as you walk around a place like this is hard to describe. Thank you for this, G! 😊

Hey Anni, there's a beautiful and not so known Norman castle just outside of Dublin : Drimnagh castle. It has a moat and everything! It's a restoration project, and the two guides I met there are so passionate and friendly. I'll visit again the next time I'm in Dublin, that's for sure :)
