What a sweet post! It's so good of you to update us in the midst of your unexpected adventure, and it's even better to read the enthusiasm & energe-ree jumping off the screen. I do hope your Fitbit finds its way home to you, though. :-) Joining the ranks of those hoping for a ramble when you get home... and looking forward with nostalgia to any lower-fi pieces you might sneak in while you and your friend are wandering. Your sound mixing, foley, & production skills have grown exponentially even just in the past couple of years, but the old audios had a different feel to them that it's nice to revisit anois is arís. Feeling a little bit wistfully envious of your adventures faoi láthair, I must admit. My adventures today started with an overnight gas leak in the classroom next to mine & ended with a wasp flying out from under a student's hoodie right into my face. Everyone's ok & nobody got stung or blown up! But I'd still prefer an impromptu vacation to this morning's impromptu evacuation. The kids were great about it, though.

I travel to Malaysia from my home here in Singapore quite frequently for work and the air quality is just horrible what with the smoke from forest fires from East Malaysia AND Indonesia coming together as one so a lot of people have been sick (me too....down with a horrid cough 😷) left and right and schools are closing to protect our kiddos' lungs... Pray the nasty haze will be long gone soon enough! 🌹💖

So I was swimming with my ‘waterproof’ Fitbit and it buzzed and went completely dead, I wrapped it kitchen towel and now I can’t find it 😳. I’m praying to god I didn’t accidentally throw it out. The poor thing was only a week or so old. It’s a mystery, I hate losing things :-(

Yup. I was worried but pleasantly surprised when I found Seitan burgers and other sources of protein. But I did find a restaurant right away, google rocks!
