#ComfortMusic

Music has always been a wonderful way to find comfort.  We all have different songs or lyrics that bring us peace, hope or a smile.  So with that in mind, let's share our comfort music with each other.

Post a link to a song that makes you happy or comforts you.  Include a lyric from the song to help show us what inspired you to choose it that song.

An Example:

"You'll Be In My Heart" by Phil Collins: https://youtu.be/w0ZHlp6atUQ

Lyrics that made me choose this song:

Come stop your crying it will be alright

Just take my hand, hold it tight

I will protect you from all around you

I will be here. Don't you cry.

Music is such an important part of my life and something I'm missing at the moment but music is one of the the things that can keep you going. I have loved going through this thread listening to some great songs and discovering artists ive never heard of, so thank you everyone. I have so many go to songs, just a couple... Spotlight by Patrick stump Brother by needtobreath Rise up by andra day One of my favourites though is Let the sun walk you home by Marti Pellow: When you’re tired of livin’ And you feel you can’t go on There’ll be an angel on your shoulder now Tellin’ you that you’re wrong You say you’re tired of forgivin’ And you feel all alone You’ve gone and lost all your trust in me So how can I stay strong Let the sun walk you home my love Let it wrap you up in its lovin’ arms Let the sun walk you home my love Back home to me

So I was that strange girl who listened to Frank Sinatra, watched black and white movies, owned every Jerry Lewis/Dean Martin movie and generally creeped everyone out. But I also battle very deep depression. Those pure, wholesome comedy acts pulled me out of some dark times. When I think of a song that has been lifting my spirits for years, I think of a sequence from one of my absolute favorite movies. The song is called “Isn’t this a lovely day?” By Fred Astaire from the movie Top Hat. It reminds me that it’s perspective. When things get really bad and everything is going horribly wrong, I have been known to start singing “Isn’t this a lovely day to be caught in the rain?” And people look at me like I’m crazy Lyrics: The weather is frightening The thunder and lightning Seem to be having their way But as far as I'm concerned It's a lovely day The turn in the weather Will keep us together So I can honestly say That as far as I'm concerned It's a lovely day and everything's okay Isn't this a lovely day to be caught in the rain? You were going on your way Now you've got to remain Just as you were going Leaving me all at sea The clouds broke, they broke And oh what a break for me I can see the sun up high Though we're caught in a storm I can see where you and I could be cozy and warm Let the rain pitter-patter But it really doesn't matter If the skies are gray Long as I can be with you It's a lovely day https://youtu.be/jd_z3fpnNpc After watching this bit of the movie, I’m always smiling.

Taiga

I thought of another musician, but honestly couldn't pick just one song because they're all full of cheeky, folksy optimism...check out John Craigie ❤✌

Jen, I’m just seeing this post now. This is so beautiful 😢 When mamas can be close to babies in any way, some truly magical healing takes place. It’s the power of love. I hope baby Milo and parents are hanging in there. Some hospitals have come out with awful COVID-19 policies by restricting family visits and contact between newborns and mamas. Let me know if that’s been an issue - I may have some resources on that. Sending big hugs to you 😘

Ok so this post is a week old now but YouTube put a song in 'My Mix' today that I seem to have forgotten about. '<b> High </b>' by <b> Lighthouse Family </b> Lyrics: <i>When you're close to tears remember  Some day it'll all be over  One day we're gonna get so high  And though it's darker than December  What's ahead is a different colour  One day we're gonna get so high</i> https://youtu.be/fm0eqPJwQDo

💜

For the Kpop fans, these would be my two picks (roughly translated versions of the key lyrics included, and lyric videos linked): Breathe by Lee Hi "Though I can't understand your breath, It's okay. I'll hold you" (roughly equated, in context, to 'Even though I don't know why you're sad, I'm here') https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v4xbVLnUx_A Winter Flower by Younha and RM (actually released to promote mental health awareness) "I will take it away before you stumble. I will stay by your side until you survive." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lZumx70VjU4

Min Ah

I have two that I love to listen to (skipping the Kpop since those are usually more meaningful to me for different reasons: Jessie J - Masterpiece: "I still fall on my face sometimes and I can't color inside the lines I'm perfectly incomplete, I'm still working on my masterpiece" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PTOFEgJ9zzI Dove Cameron - My Once Upon A Time (Descendants 3) (Kind of sounds depressing in the lyrics of the verses, but the chorus is super inspiring to me) "Once upon a time, a girl tried harder Once upon a time, she tried again. Once upon a braver choice, She took a risk, she used her voice. That will be my once upon a time, this time." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=04uz1jaVtMM

Amaryllis by Shinedown "in a while now I will feel better, I will be better."

A little bit late to this but... What Do I Know? By Ed Sheeran 🎶 We can change this whole world with a piano, add a bass and guitar, grab a beat, and away we go! I’m just a boy with a one man show, no university, no degree, but lord knows everybody’s talking bout exponential growth, and the stock market crashing in their portfolios. Well, I’ll be sitting here with the song that I wrote saying, ‘love can change the world in a moment,’ but what do I know? 🎶 And: 🎶 I’ll paint the picture, let me set the scene. I know I’m all for people following their dreams. Just remember life is more than fitting in your jeans, it’s love and understanding, positivity. 🎶 I love this song. It’s so cheery, and I was feeling sad when I was listening to it to get my favourite lyrics, and it cheered me up. ☺️ https://youtu.be/rmreBxhX7J4

Home by Phillip Phillips Settle down itll all be clear Dont pay no mind to the demons they fill you with fear The trouble it might drag u down If u get lost u can always be found Just know youre not alone Im gonna make this place your home

https://youtu.be/64rs9hqWSmA https://youtu.be/_3mxr73VpnY https://youtu.be/HRTMZMNus7g These are comforting pieces that my brother and sister-in-law have been making for my newborn nephew while he recovers from his open heart surgery. The videos are played for him by the nurses at night when he gets fussy and they are working wonders to keep his blood pressure down. They’ve been very therapeutic for our family during this time and I hope they can bring some calm to you as well.

“Fight Song” by Rachel Platten: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xo1VInw-SKc Lyrics that made me choose this song: This is my fight song Take back my life song Prove I'm alright song My power's turned on Starting right now I'll be strong I'll play my fight song And I don't really care if nobody else believes 'Cause I've still got a lot of fight left in me

And ffs. It took me frrrrever to get my post to post correctly last night and then it dissipated while I was sleeping evidently. 🙄😆

It took me some time to respond cuz music makes me feel things so deeply and i especially love sad songs. So it took me a minute to find a non sad song lol So if you're still looking at this...this link should take you to Caleb Hyles. He does covers and for some reason I connect with them..maybe cuz hes just a regular person. But he also has and incredible range..sort of Panic at the Disco esqu in that way. Also Imagine Dragon esqu. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=RD7p_0ONbYwyQ&amp;feature=share&amp;playnext=1 The first song on this playlist is John Legend's "All of me" .. "what's going on in that beautiful mind, I'm your magical mystery ride, I'm so dizzy i don't know what hit me, but i'll be alright" (Oh jeebus I remember you saying this 😂) Beautiful minds are the most attractive feature someone can possess and i love to follow them.. The rest of this playlist is amazing. I'm not all about the song in general but his "Bang Bang" is highly amazing bc it shows what he can do with his pipes. Thassal.. overthinking complete byeee

The late, great Phoebe Snow sang this song, which was originally about addiction but actually got me through my first romantic heartbreak--and also helped me years later, when my mother passed. Basically, it's about surviving. If I Can Just Get Through the Night https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gNb-uDnLuXc I started seeing double Got myself concerned Headed right for trouble And I ain't got no where to turn I can always give it up tomorrow Lose my Sorrow in the morning light gonna give it up tomorrow Ive got to live it up tonight If I can just get through tonight I'm gonna give it all up tomorrow Darling I would Hold me tight Were gonna be alright Be alright Getting myself together yeah You could be my natural man Stay this way forever My futures in your hands I can always give it up tomorrow Lose my sorrow in the morning light Gonna give it up tomorrow Got to live it up tonight...I'll get through the night

For me whenever I'm feeling really down and the negative thoughts get to be too much, I listen to Old Scars/Future Hearts by All Time Low. Hearing the lyrics "I won't fade away, be forgotten or just cast away. This life is mine to live." They always get me out of that dark place. https://youtu.be/xnoJ_0lk_5w

A beauty from Mumford and Sons Guiding Light We're on the permanent red The glaze on my eyes When I heard your voice The distance caught me by surprise again And I know you claim that you're alright But fix your eyes on me I guess I'm all you have And I swear you'll see the dawn again Well I know I had it all on the line But don't just sit with folded hands and become blind 'Cause even when there is no star in sight You'll always be my only guiding light https://youtu.be/qHsEwQvnGOE

For me it’s “True Colours” —&gt; https://youtu.be/la0-5QFLr14 by Justin Timberlake and Anna Kendrick, from the movie Trolls. The whole song feels like it’s talking directly at me, like a friend, and sometimes it’s the only thing that can cheer me up. It’s amazing when I think about the moods this song has taken me out of. Maybe it doesn’t solve depression, but when I feel like crying it always ALWAYS bring a smile back to my face, and that’s all it takes to react. 😌 “You with the sad eyes Don’t be discouraged Oh I realize It’s hard to take courage In a world full of people You can lose sight of it all And the darkness inside you Can make you feel so small Show me a smile then Don't be unhappy, can't remember when I last saw you laughing If this world makes you crazy And you've taken all you can bear You call me up Because you know I'll be there”

Ooh yeah.. I haven’t listened to that in a while. “Where’d all the good people go??” ...they’re in self isolation. 😉

Yaaass, BTS has so many songs that are such a comfort to me also in times of despair. They're incredible! Most recently it's been "Zero O'Clock", and I've been revisiting RM's mixtape mono and "everythinggoes", it's so beautiful! 👏💜 "It all passes, everything goes" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KBVb2jweH9M

This quarantine period I’ve been going back and rediscovering album that once brought joy to my life. The most comforting has been Jack Johnson’s In Between Dream album. I introduced my kiddos to this album and we played “Banana Pancakes” while making them together. 🥰

I don't know what happened to have ARMY upset with the group/the guy but those lyrics were amazing &amp; I felt good listening to that 🤗💜

Not sure what made me click on that link after reading the lyrics you put up... I should've known what I'd get myself into 🤦 I just couldn't click away and the sing felt like heartbreak and impending doom all at once and I swear if I wasn't an emotional trainwreck I would've bawled my eyes out 😬 I love his voice though and the metaphoric songwriting 💜 thank you for sharing that!

You. Are. The. OG 😍😍👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 I smiled from ear to ear seeing that video again 🤭

I loved it! Got goosebumps &amp; started tearing up about halfway through 🤫 also I thought you might enjoy this cover (if you haven't seen it already) https://youtu.be/fPFz1t5PCAM

I have a lot of songs that help me calm down but for the current situation I'll have to go with this one: BTS - "Magic Shop" https://youtu.be/lNNOz3_88fM Lyrics from the song: "On days you hate being yourself, days you want to disappear forever Let's make a door in your heart. Open the door and come in, I'll wait for you in this place It's okay to believe, I'll comfort you, magic shop While drinking a glass of hot tea And looking up at the galaxy You’ll be alright, oh, this here is the Magic Shop" (The lyrics are translated and might be slightly different in other translations) The "magic shop" is a technique used in psychotherapy where clients get to exchange fears/negative thoughts and feelings for something positive, this song is about how everyone has a magic shop inside and can find comfort and positivity there. This song is incredibly relaxing, comforting and inspiring to me, whenever my anxiety peaks or I feel myself slipping into a depressive phase, it really breaks through those barriers and helps me center and ground myself again 💜 also the fact that so many people feel the same or similar to that helps to feel less lonely.

Here is another song that touches the heart https://youtu.be/lFg1zwUES8A

This song has a special place with me. Because of an abusive relationship that I got out of. It gives me the strength to keep going. I hope it does with you lovelies too. I followed my heart into the fire Got burned, got broken down by desire I tried, I tried But the smoke in my eyes Left me blurry, blurry and blind I picked all the pieces up off the ground Got dirt on my fingers but that's gone now Got the glue in my hands And stickin' to the plan Stickin' to the plan that says, I can... Do anything at all I can do anything at all This is my kiss goodbye You can stand alone and watch me fly 'Cause nothing's keeping me down Gonna let it all out Come on and say right now, right now, right now This is my big "Hello" 'Cause I'm here and never letting go I can finally see It's not just a dream When you set it all free, all free, all free You set it all free I was a girl caught under your thumb But my star's gonna shine brighter than your sun And I will reach so high Shoot so far Gonna hit, gonna hit, hit every target Make it count this time I will make it count this time This is my kiss goodbye You can stand alone and watch me fly 'Cause nothing's keeping me down I'm gonna let it all out Come on and say right now, right now, right now This is my big "Hello" 'Cause I'm here and never letting go I can finally see It's not just a dream When you set it all free, all free, all free You set it all free You set it all free You set it all free This is my kiss goodbye You can stand alone and watch me fly 'Cause nothing's keeping me down I'm gonna let it all out Come on and say right now, right now, right now This is my big "Hello" 'Cause I'm here and never letting go I can finally see It's not just a dream When you set it all free, all free, all free You set it all free You set it all free You set it all free You set it all free You set it all free https://youtu.be/XPFn-y7tnKA

"Welcome to Wherever You are" Bon Jovi Maybe we're all different but we're all the same Welcome, you gotta believe That right here right now You're exactly where you're supposed to be Everybody's a miracle in their own way Be who you want to be Be who you are Everyone's a hero, Everyone's a star When you want to give up and your heart's about to break Remember that you're perfect. God makes no mistakes ❤ https://youtu.be/w3zcypsjO8o

"Insight" by Depeche Mode This is an insight Into my life This is a strange flight I'm taking My true will Carries me along This is a soul dance Embracing me This is the first chance To put things right Moving on Guided by the light And the spirit of love Is rising within me Talking to you now Telling you clearly The fire still burns Wisdom of ages Rush over me Heighten my senses Enlighten me Lead me on Eternally And the spirit of love Is rising within me Talking to you now Telling you clearly The fire still burns I'm talking to you now The fire still burns Whatever you do now You've got to give love The world still turns I'm talking to you now https://youtu.be/Z62fegq1gkk

Lamb - Wise enough 🦉🤍 🎶...All I'm really asking is, what are we doing here Are we just killing time just living year to year In this big world, no one else can play our part Ain't it time to just wake up and give it all Are we not wise enough to give all we are Surely we're bright enough to outshine the stars But human kind gets so lost in finding its way We have a chance to make a difference til our dying day https://youtu.be/5t5QSiydF9Y Florence + the machine - Spectrum 💎🎨 🎶...And when we come for you We dressed up all in blue With the ocean in our arms Kissing eyes and kissing palms When it's time to pray We dressed up all in gray With metal on our tongues And silver in our lungs Say my name And every color illuminates We are shining And we'll never be afraid again https://youtu.be/iC-_lVzdiFE

I bring you a well known classic that always brings me comfort: You with the sad eyes Don't be discouraged Oh I realize It's hard to take courage In a world full of people You can lose sight of it all And the darkness inside you Can make you feel so small But I see your true colors Shining through I see your true colors And that's why I love you https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lqWQCWc_zCc (This is a cover version with a choir, I know, but it was too beautiful not to share!)

♥️♥️♥️

Jen Ohh

Love me some Nina Simone!

High five, Aimee! Timelines are made up, there are no rules we have to follow them!

I’m so sorry for your loss. Thank you for sharing this song and your memory - I think music is so powerful in bringing us closer to the people we love, even though they’re gone.

I love this, thank you!

You my friend, are an amazing human being. 🥰

I thought of another one... it’s an old Van Morrison song that kind of fits... I Wanna Roo You You know I am lonely And in need of your company Oh, let your love light shine on down on me And we can just sit here Look at the fire Watch the flames leaping higher and higher Tea on the stove food in the pan Ain't going nowhere and we don't have many plans I wanna roo you, wanna get through to you I wanna woo you, woo you tonight I wanna roo you, wanna get through to you I wanna woo you, woo you tonight https://youtu.be/OEty27_8XBY

Couldn’t choose just one... ❤️ Island Style | Jack Johnson and dozens of artists joined more than 1,000 Hawai’i keiki (children) in this beautiful medley. https://youtu.be/6Bpt53CM_JY Mama's in the kitchen cooking dinner real nice, Beef stew on the stove, lomi salmon with the ice. We eat and drink and we sing all day, Kanikapila in the old Hawaiian way.

“Little Bit of Love” | Jack Johnson, John Cruz &amp; Friends https://youtu.be/pfERoDwU42g And all I need is a happy home Some place I wouldn't have to be alone It'll be nice to have some candle light Light the fire in your heart at night Little bit of love Not that we need it Little bit of love No need be greedy Little bit of love Cuz I love this…

I usually go for songs that make me wanna move, but I've loved this song for years. (In fact it was one of the inspirations for the outcome of Ice Queen, and you will "hear" her sing it eventually) Gloria Estefan, Coming out out of the Dark https://youtube.com/watch?v=QS7qLDizDYo Coming out of the dark, I finally see the light now And it's shinning on me Coming out of the dark, I know the love that saved me

“Can’t Hold Us” - Macklemore https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=VG3JsmOmDqw Raise those hands, this is our party We came here to live life like nobody was watching I got my city right behind me If I fall they got me Learn from that failure, gain humility And then we keep marching, I said Can we go back, this is the moment Tonight is the night, we'll fight 'til it's over So we put our hands up like the ceiling can't hold us Like the ceiling can't hold us As heartbroken as I’ve felt over the last week over the tremendous suffering out there, a great conversation I had with some colleagues inspired me and kept me going. It made me think of this song I used to listen to in grad school, especially on days when I was like: wtf is the point of all this?? Answer: to give back - when one of us suffers, the whole community suffers. We fall together. And when we rise, we must ALL rise together. This is community and solidarity.

Oh my goodness! I am so glad you were able to find a doctor who was able to help you. I hope all it still going well.

Today My Life Begins by Bruno Mars https://youtu.be/rsqpdsgJxDc I will, break these chains that bind me Happiness will find me Leave the past behind me Today my life begins A whole new world is waiting It's mine for the takin' I know I can make it Today my life begins ---- Freckles by Natasha Bedingfield https://youtu.be/J-vWKSzqBOk 'Cause a face without freckles is like the sky without the stars Why waste a second, not loving who you are? Those little imperfections make you beautiful, lovable, valuable They show your personality, inside your heart Reflecting who you are

Not Afraid-Eminem "I'm not afraid To take a stand Everybody Come take my hand We'll walk this road together, through the storm Whatever weather, cold or warm Just letting you know that you're not alone Holler if you feel like you've been down the same road" https://youtu.be/j5-yKhDd64s Giant-Rag 'n' Bone Man "I am a giant Stand up on my shoulders, tell me what you see 'Cause I am a giant We'll be breaking boulders, underneath our feet" https://youtu.be/ir6nk2zrMG0 Good As Hell - Lizzo "Come now, come dry your eyes You know you a star, you can touch the sky I know that it's hard but you have to try If you need advice, let me simplify" https://youtu.be/SmbmeOgWsqE Three Little Birds- Bob Marley "Rise up this mornin' Smiled with the risin' sun Three little birds Pitch by my doorstep Singin' sweet songs Of melodies pure and true Saying', (this is my message to you) Singing' don't worry 'bout a thing 'Cause every little thing gonna be alright" https://youtu.be/zaGUr6wzyT8

Gri (Sassy_One)

Sailing by Christopher Cross I remember dancing in the living room with my mom to this song when I was a little girl. This song always grounds me and makes me feel like I’m safe. Well, it's not far down to paradise, at least it's not for me And if the wind is right you can sail away and find tranquility Oh, the canvas can do miracles, just you wait and see. Believe me. It's not far to never-never land, no reason to pretend And if the wind is right you can find the joy of innocence again Oh, the canvas can do miracles, just you wait and see. Believe me. Sailing takes me away to where I've always heard it could be Just a dream and the wind to carry me And soon I will be free Fantasy, it gets the best of me When I'm sailing All caught up in the reverie, every word is a symphony Won't you believe me? Sailing takes me away to where I've always heard it could be Just a dream and the wind to carry me And soon I will be free Well it's not far back to sanity, at least it's not for me And if the wind is right you can sail away and find serenity Oh, the canvas can do miracles, just you wait and see. Believe me. Sailing takes me away to where I've always heard it could be Just a dream and the wind to carry me And soon I will be free

Aoife Snow

"Into the Mystic" by Van Morrison "And together we will float Into the Mystic" I've always found it to be such a terribly romantic song. It makes my heart feel light even if I don't have someone to be romantic with, haha.

Intro - M83 🌠 This song doesn't necessarily have uplifting lyrics, but it's beautiful. It makes me feel like I can do anything and the world is magic. It's just epic. I don't know how to describe it. Listen and tell me if you feel it too 😊

Rainbow Connection by Kermit the Frog

Everything Will Change by Gavin Degraw https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=C83KJ5V9zvo Hey, I feel it coming on Starting like a fire Tonight you lit the flame Now everything will change This song became my anthem after being diagnosed with Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome (aka - the suicide syndrome). The easiest way to explain it is that I have nerve damage and the pain signals in my lower limbs do not go all the way to my brain so they never turn off. Thankfully I was referred to a doc who knows damn near everything about pain. He literally saved my life. He suggested a spinal cord stimulator, so I did a trial for a week. It was like night and day!! My pain went from a constant 15 out of 10 to an 8!

This song always puts me in a good mood no matter what! 'Symphony' by Clean Bandit https://youtu.be/aatr_2MstrI Lyrics that stand out to me: Life was stringing me along Then you came and you cut me loose Was solo singing on my own Now I can't find the key without you

It’s a big section of the song “Rescue” by Lauren Daigle, but I feel is sums up how this amazing group of women has held me up every time I have fallen this week. The stress has been unbearable sometimes and they’ve been there to find me, love me, and put my life vest back on. I hear you whisper underneath your breath I hear your SOS, your SOS I will send out an army to find you In the middle of the darkest night It's true, I will rescue you There is no distance That cannot be covered Over and over You're not defenseless I'll be your shelter I'll be your armor https://youtu.be/gYR0xP1j4PY

In this moment - as above so below In this moment - sinner Falling in reverse - the drug in me is reimagined Falling in reverse - loosing my mind, life and drugs Apcoplptica - bittersweet ft HIM &amp; Rasmus (I know their name but can’t spell them) America - the last unicorn/I’m alive/ in the sea (soundtrack from the last unicorn) Anything from Tom MacDonald his last two releases I don’t care and corona virus are absolutely amazing. There is loads more but we be here all day lol

Rain Archer (Rhiannon)

My go-to artist is always Josh Groban! There are too many good songs to list, so I'll just share one: "So She Dances" https://youtu.be/EIzA3Plv4ig "A waltz for the chance I should take But how will I know where to start? She's spinning between constellations and dreams Her rhythm is my beating heart"

Eryn

I'm really feeling S.J. Tucker's "Wonders" lately... "There must be blood, and this I knew I believe there must be wonders, too."

One Tin Soldier This one's an oldie that I heard somewhere and learned to sing ... I sang this to my children as a lullaby the first night I held them (a much slower version, in a hushed lullaby voice) and it's been their requested lullaby since. I do change the word 'people' to 'children' when I sing it. https://youtu.be/apxIL0RpY7E Listen _children_ to a story That was written long ago, 'bout a kingdom on a mountain And the valley folk below.

We Are The World Song by U.S.A. for Africa We started to request this at music cafes a few weeks back (when live bands were playing) every customer and bar staff stood up to sing along. https://g.co/kgs/nd1oiU We are the world We are the children We are the ones who make a brighter day, so let's start giving

OMG that song is a powerhouse!!!!!! Why didn't I think of that one? Thanks for the reminder :)

I love this song. 🥰

I used to love this song and Savage Garden 😍

That Phil Collins song is one of my favourites because of Disney’s Tarzan ✨ Written it down for my Wedding Playlist (if I ever get married that is 🙈) Songs...they speak volumes. I have too many. But the one that stands out most to me is “You Say” by Lauren Daigle. All of the lyrics speak to me. But here’s the chorus; “You say I am loved when I can’t feel a thing. You say I am strong when I think I am weak. You say I am held when I am falling short. When I don’t belong, you say I am Yours And I believe” https://youtu.be/oZvKJl1kK8g ~ L 💜 I do hope you are okay Gael 😞 I understand it’s tough for everyone. Stay strong and keep that pretty head up.

Great song. Mark was actually my teenage crush ❤ I think for a long time my favourite Westlife song was Angels Wings - such a beautiful song which was dedicated to Steve Mac's (then) baby daughter. Strangely enough, 'You'll be in my Heart' by Phil Collins was written for his daughter Lily.

Emma

Your pick, G:🥰❤ I adore the song Lovely Day by Bill Withers. In fact, you can't really go wrong with any of his music, lol. ❤🎶 https://youtu.be/bEeaS6fuUoA 🎶 When I wake up in the morning, love, And the sunlight hurts my eyes, And something without warning, love, Bears heavy on my mind, Then I look at you, And the world's alright with me, Just one look at you, And I know it's gonna be, A lovely day❤

Yes! Another Daughtry song!!👍🏼♥️

Jenn (Preemie Cuddler)

This was my morning song for a long time. Nina Simone - Here comes the sun (Francois K. remix) https://youtu.be/jSVscnLdUxk My favorite lyrics from it are: Here comes the sun little darlin' Here comes the sun I say, "It's all right, it's all right"

Sing for us!! 🥰🥰

Ooh, how did I forget this one? Classic! Let it Be - the Beatles “When I find myself in times of trouble Mother Mary comes to me Speaking words of wisdom, let it be. And in my hour of darkness She is standing right in front of me Speaking words of wisdom, let it be. Let it be, let it be. Whisper words of wisdom, let it be.” https://youtu.be/QDYfEBY9NM4 I have a great piano accompaniment (sheet music) for this song and have been playing it quite a bit lately to soothe myself. 💗🥰

Phil Collins soothes the soul. Truly ♡ I usually tend to stay quiet, but music is a necessity for me with or without words. If I had to choose some for a bit of a pick me up, I'd have to pick: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xg9_k6b9qc8 Daughtry- Undefeated "We're the ones who take the beating, Get back up and we're still breathing We are the ones We'll take the hit straight to the face. And never look the other way We are the ones Still undefeated, With our back against the ropes We're still undefeated, We'll break these chains To let them know they, cannot break our hope" The second would have to be: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QxAOk1TLOpo Nico&amp;Vinz-- In your Arms "I've got a nine to five, And it gets the best of me This is the life I'm gonna live to the end But I'm okay, When I lie down in your arms"

Ooh yeah

Song of the sandman, by eithne (Enya) https://youtu.be/7zTCNLiRBXY the lyric I find to be most comforting is: Can you hear the night’s deep song?” All the shadows say. Telling you when you’re asleep, tears will fade away.

My favorite part " why can't I say that I am in love ? I wanna shout from the rooftops.. "

Swim Away by Sejeong https://youtu.be/HT0oZ302zZU I figured out last summer what I wanted to be when I grew up. It took longer than it does most people, but I'm currently working toward my goal of teaching. I'm in school right now to do it. I turned 36 in February, and though I may be on the middle portion of the climb of life, I'm going to do this. The part of the lyrics that move me the most are: I have no idea what my future holds, You'll do you and I'll do me Doesn't that make it more interesting Look around and take a deep breath Don't be impatient"

Cardigan - Don Toliver https://youtu.be/Gbng2ZDW3gE Lyrics that made me choose the song: "Don't stick around, you should save yourself But you can hit my phone if you need some help"

This song was released several years ago, long before the Virus That Shall Not Be Named, but of course there were already equally pressing conundrums this world was in, and plenty of folks including myself were already dealing with enough "real life" things along with anxiety, depression and so forth. I've had the pleasure of meeting these gentlemen in real life (back when I worked with one of three record labels), as well as witnessing their energy live in concert. They're fantastic. For King &amp; Country, "Joy" Lately I've been reading, watching the nightly news Don't seem to find the rhythm, just wanna sing the blues Feels like a song that never stops, feels like it's never gonna Gotta get that fire fire back in my bones, before my heart heart turns into stone So somebody please pass the megaphone, I'll shout it on the count of three (one two three)... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lA7n7TwPDmw (Official Music Video, shot ala 1970s news anchorman/anchorwoman style) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FLedTDmSHxY (Single Shot Video, how they are in real life leading up to a concert) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E-r7ogDaaEQ (Lyric video by a fan/supporter)

Oohhh, I love this song

Great choice, Shelby! I adore the Eva Cassidy version but wasn't aware of this one so, thanks for the heads up!

Delta Rae - Morning Comes https://youtu.be/wng3zH5RsrU When I say oh, oh Rain don't change the sun Jealous is the night when the morning comes But it always comes It always rains down on us And like an old dog lying by a new gravestone It's still our home It's still our home So if you ever feel like you are alone After the night The morning comes

As I Lay Me Down by Sophie B. Hawkins https://youtu.be/gq-4vIIJO30 My mom would sing this to me all time and we loved this song. She passed two months ago. Even though it makes me cry sometimes, I love hearing the music she loved. Listening to and loving some of her favorite music is like still having a piece of her with me. That was one of the many ways mama and I were so intensely connected, was through music. Even though the entire song is incredibly beautiful and peaceful, these are my favorite lyrics: It felt like spring time on this February morning In a courtyard birds were singing your praise I'm still recalling things you said to make me feel alright I carried them with me today Now As I lay me down to sleep This I pray That you will hold me dear Though I'm far away I'll whisper your name into the sky And I will wake up happy I wonder why I feel so high Though I am not above the sorrow Heavy hearted Till you call my name And it sounds like church bells Or the whistle of a train On a summer evening I'll run to meet you Barefoot, barely breathing 💙

The Four Tops - Reach Out I'll be There. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=StdKjLwOIwI I love the lyrics but connect more with the strident energy of it.

Voiceplay Bridge over troubled waters. https://youtu.be/yWtd2UEh2hY I liked the original version but oh man with Geoff's mahogany voice it lulls me so fast. I can't post my favorite lyrics without posting the whole song lol but this is still my mom's favorite song and whenever life gets to be too much the smile and peace that washes over her after playing this, make this the most beautiful song in the world.

Placebo - Song 6 https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=PcdebiARDnE It's a cover, but I chose this version because Placebo are my most favorite band ever and they make me happy 💖 "Let the cares of the world Float away Remember that tomorrow, we can look at yesterday"

Adding one more in honor of the late, great Bill Withers. &lt;3 Plus, this song is very appropriate for Gaelandia. <b>"Lean On Me" by Bill Withers</b> - https://youtu.be/N5jlPL1tNDY Lyrics: <i>Lean on me, when you're not strong And I'll be your friend I'll help you carry on For it won't be long 'Til I'm gonna need Somebody to lean on</i>

Till there was you - the Beatles https://youtu.be/SHAqAO7w8M8 My grandfather played the guitar beautifully and he'd play this in Spanish&amp;English for my grandmother whenever he wanted to get a smile outta her 😊 I grew up with this song in my house and as kids we'd ask for it as Nana's song, not knowing it was a Beatles tune. It's so sweet and simple and always puts a smile on my face ♥️

I lie in the dark, I feel I’m falling Feel your hand on my back, hear your voice calling I’m out of my depths, girl, stick close to me Because the people in this town they see right through me We were silenced by the night But you and I we’re going to rise again

https://youtu.be/1u-niluB8HI The song that I love and inspires me is Renegades by x ambassadors. I has help me through so much and gets me fighting. I feel greatful to be alive when I hear it. And hope you do to. Run away with me Lost souls and reverie Running wild and running free Two kids, you and me And I say Hey, hey hey hey Living like we're renegades Hey hey hey Hey hey hey Living like we're renegades Renegades, renegades Long live the pioneers Rebels and mutineers Go forth and have no fear Come close the end is near And I say hey, hey hey hey Living like we're renegades Hey hey hey Hey hey hey Living like we're renegades Renegades, renegades All hail the underdogs All hail the new kids All hail the outlaws Spielberg's and Kubrick's It's our time to make a move It's our time to make amends It's our time to break the rules Let's begin And I say hey, hey hey hey Living like we're renegades Hey hey hey Hey hey hey Leaving like we're renegades Renegades, renegades

https://youtu.be/W60IPexop30 When you feel all alone And the world has turned it's back on you Give me a moment please to tame your wild wild heart I know you feel like the walls are closing in on you It's hard to find relief and people can be so cold When darkness is upon your door and You feel like you can't take anymore Let me be the one you call If you jump I'll break your fall Lift you up and fly away with you into the night If you need to fall apart I can mend a broken heart If you need to crash then crash and burn You're not alone When you feel all alone And a loyal friend is hard to find You're caught in a one way street With the monsters in your head When hopes and dreams are far away and You feel you can't face the day Let me be the one you call If you jump I'll break your fall Lift you up and fly away with you into the night If you need to fall apart I can mend a broken heart If you need to crash then crash and burn You're not alone Because there has always been heartache and pain And when it's over you'll breathe again You'll breathe again When you feel all alone And the world has turned its back on you Give me a moment please To tame your wild wild heart Let me be the one you call If you jump I'll break your fall Lift you up and fly away with you into the night If you need to fall apart I can mend a broken heart If you need to crash then crash and burn You're not alone

It might seem unconventional, but I find this song quite comforting despite its melancholic vibe. 🖤 Talos -- To Each His Own (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ric3yCCe6c) "I'll take the desert, you take the coast But to each his own"

Having been raised by musicians, music has always been such a big part of my life. Heck I was even named after parts of it. My favorite song. Both uplifting and heartfelt is a song called I’ll try. It’s from a Return to Neverland. Yes, a Disney movie, but it’s pretty deep for a Disney movie. https://youtu.be/qSOytKUvVvo Reminds me that no matter what we’ve been through we can always get back to that place where we believe in faith, love, and pixie dust.

Lovely choice!!!!! Love Bryan Adams 💕

Thank You for starting this little movement here with music, Gael 💕 You'll Be In My Heart reminds me of my mom as it is one of her favorite songs 😊 I'll go with both as I'm a heavy music listener so I can't ever pick just one! Comfort: By Your Side - Tokio Hotel https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=5GLI4Mlqcp0 My favorite lyrics from this song is definitely the chorus..... "Turn around, I am here If you want, it's me you'll see Doesn't count, far or near I can hold you when you reach for me" This German band was very popular with teens everywhere (and probably still is with their old material) back in the mid and late 2000s because they served a voice as well as comfort and understanding to many who struggle in life with inner and outer demons. I know they did for me when I was a teenager myself.... I actually had a good cry to this song earlier this year when I decided to revisit their albums from those times Now for happiness.... this is a tough one.... I've got 4 in my hands and can't seem to pick between them so I'll go with all of them... you can never get too much Happiness! Take On Me - a-ha https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=HzdD8kbDzZA This one's obvious ain't it?? The heavy inter changing beats as well as its iconic riff..... a true 80s synth pop classic "So, needless to say I'm odds and ends, but I'll be stumbling away Slowly learning that life is okay Say after me..... It's no better to be safe than sorry" That last line hit deep..... shows that you gotta live life to the fullest whenever you can because most of the time you won't go anywhere staying on the safe side of things..... it's on the other side that you experience the magic the universe has to offer Train Of Thought - a-ha https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ofGx-OH9VBA A VERY underrated song by a-ha (ALL of their other material is underrated) I love this one because it has such a heavy infectious beat that you can't help but bop your head to it especially during the chorus. Clever lyrics too "Words go up, words come down, forwards, backwards, twisted round" I like this line purely because of the satisfaction I get from the flow lead singer Morten Harket delivers through those words hahaha I don't know it's oddly satisfying to me ! Breathing Better - Tomine Harket (Morten's daughter, also a singer) https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=zBIwJvlw1Yo This is a quite an empowering song for anyone who has had or is on the process of leaving unhealthy relationships and regaining peace and more self-respect after that "I'm gonna love myself, harder, better than you Now, I'm breathing better" Put Your Hearts Up - Ariana Grande https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=R1eqmHhAAlg "We can do anything if we tried Can't resurrect Gandhi, resurrect King but if we put our heads together we can do anything You don't have to be a billionaire, you don't have to have much to show how much you care like Give a wink, give a kiss, give a little happiness" This was way before Ariana is where she is now and this song was probably mostly aimed at younger audiences from her Nickelodeon acting career at the time BUT the message in this song is really positive and sweet and just might put a smile on your face 😊 Hope you lovelies are interested in these picks and may they serve a purpose for you ❤ Much love to all of you 🌹💖

Master Blaster (Jammin') - Stevie Wonder https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zU3GNWBZDyM Everyone's feeling pretty It's hotter than July Though the world's full of problems They couldn't touch us even if they tried From the park I hear rhythms Marley's hot on the box Tonight there will be a party On the corner at the end of the block Didn't know you Would be jammin' until the break of dawn I bet nobody ever told you that you Would be jammin' until the break of dawn You would be jammin' and jammin' and jammin', jam on They want us to join their fighting But our answer today Is to let all our worries Like the breeze through our fingers slip away...

I've seen them a couple of times in concert and this is one of my fave songs of theirs. Great choice!

One of my all-time favorite bands. Great song choice!

‘I see skies of blue, clouds of white. The bright blessed day. The dark sacred night. And I think to myself, what a wonderful world’ 🌍 Reminds me of how simple, small things can bring us joy if we notice them. https://youtu.be/CWzrABouyeE

<b>"Workin' On It" by Andy Grammer</b> - https://youtu.be/fH-hv8-c2UA Lyrics that made me choose this song: <i>You know we're just working on it No leaderboard keeping score Long as you woke up this morning And see you're working on it It might be taking forever, but it's better than never</i> It's a reminder not to be so hard on yourself, we've all got things we need to work on. For me, it's almost a theme song to my life. lol Take things one day at a time, one hour at a time, 10 minutes at a time if need be. &lt;3 We're all just workin' on it.

3rd time lucky with this comment as patreon ate it twice...

Oh G, this is such a lovely idea 💕. The song you've chosen always makes me feel a bit emotional because it reminds me of my uncle. He took me to see Tarzan at the cinema back in 1999 and he whispered something to me around the time that the song was playing about always being there for me. My parents split up in the same year and we lost touch for a while due to conflicts within my family. We've since reformed our relationship and we're very close now. So that song always gives me the warm and fuzzies and can make me cry sometimes. The song I've chosen is called '<b>Torches</b>' by <b>Daughtry</b> Lyrics: <i> Love is like a torch that's burning bright Carry it on, carry it on and you'll see Fire will shine a light on the darkest side Carry it on, carry it on 'Cause we can never right all the wrongs So leave the past well enough alone Just say Oh oh, oh oh, oh oh, oh oh Just say It's gonna be alright Yeah It's gonna be alright Yeah </i> https://youtu.be/s6qrATO3auk

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TkpHkJoAMc0 Tomorrow by Slam Stewart and Major Holley. I Love this song in the musical (Annie) but this is just such a funky and groovy version. The sun will come out Tomorrow So ya gotta hang on 'Til tomorrow

This one always makes me smile and feel good: Be Nice, Black Eyed Peas The love you give is the love you get so be nice and change your life https://youtu.be/gHN-EhL8x3g

When the visions around you, bring tears to your eyes And all that surrounds you, are secrets and lies I'll be your strength, I'll give you hope Keeping your faith when it's gone The one you should call, was standing here all along And I will take, you in my arms, and hold you right where you belong Till the day my life is through, this I promise you https://youtu.be/6thmPrTxBtI

So hopefully the ARMY will forgive an old Shinhwa Changjo but it always cheers me up to watch the video that led me to kpop, This Love by Shinhwa. https://youtu.be/45wH_HHnJBg Translated- The fire light, the moment I'm trapped in my burning eyes One kiss to wake me up, I think I'll have the whole world Like satellites and shooting stars Like a bee who saw petals I go around you and turn around Finally holding you (Holding your heart)

Thank you sis! I really enjoyed listening to this one 💕

Oohhh, good one! Love it 💗

I really like this one, thank you so much 💖

Hey Brother - Avicii "What if I'm far from home? Oh brother, I will hear you call What if I lose it all? Oh sister, I will help you out Oh, if the sky comes falling down, for you There's nothing in this world I wouldn't do" https://youtu.be/YxIiPLVR6NA

This one's more of a pick me up in terms of comfort music, but it's the medley of Get Ready and Dancing In The Streets from the Motown musical 😊 It always brings up my mood and gets you dancing 🎶 https://youtu.be/CLbkTgZSJkU

I used to take singing lessons, so singing is one of the things which lifts my mood! I'm a massive Travis fan and I love listening to 'Magnificent Time'. The music video is light-hearted and fun (even if its a bit strange): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wyq_Up37Eic Whenever I feel low I play it, sing along and it just lifts my spirits, you can't help but sing along to the chorus: "No regrets, don't you forget, this magnificent time, seize the day, don't throw away, this magnificent time"

Emma

This might seem like a bit of an odd choice but here goes: https://youtu.be/6efgtxfbw4U I Once had Wings by Dark Sarah "Let history just tell it's tales. Your scars will fade, another day will break. We all have made a few mistakes, But you have paid them back with your heart ache." A lot of songs came to mind for comfort, but this one has been a recent one for me.

Prue

I chose the song My Blood by Twenty One Pilots because it sounds really good musically and I also really like the lyrics, ” When everyone you thought you knew Deserts your fight, I'll go with you You're facin' down a dark hall I'll grab my light And go with you,” I hope you guys can find time to listen to it because it is overall a really good song. https://youtu.be/HvbclcerOgM

This is a wonderful idea, Gael! My choice would be Loreena McKennitt’s “Night Ride Across the Caucus.” Link: https://youtu.be/eUTci9UbxNU Lyrics that made me choose this song: “Take me with you, on this journey Where the boundaries of time are now tossed In cathedrals, of the Forest In the words of the tongues now lost Find the answers, ask the questions Find the roots of an ancient tree Take me dancing, take me singing I’ll ride on till the moon meets the sea”

Sydnee

Just had to include one more--my all-time favorite love song, kind and hopeful: Whatever It Takes--Ron Sexsmith https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=none9J5_gHo And if we give thanks For our love at each new dawn We'll find the strength And the will to carry on The sun alone will never do Without your love to shine on through It just won't be new Whatever it takes my love, I'll find it Whatever it takes my love To put the lonely days behind us I'm laying it down Whatever it takes my love

I Love his Song :D

Sailing by Christopher Cross.. I’m not sure about the lyrics specifically, but I think its so pretty and soothing

https://youtu.be/CfLhN2gLU-0 You can everything with me yeah I don't mind As long as you stay with me I am alright I want to hold ya (baby I am falling for ya) Just one song I love. I hear a lot of dark Musik lately. But another favorite is love you 3000

(That song you posted, Gael, was featured in a tribute video to Michael Jackson. I will forever associate this song with him. Thank you *mwah*) I'm gonna have to resort to my first ever Irish love: Westlife. Their "Flying Without Wings" is a winner (especially the live versions where Mark proves his voice is a gift from the above) Maybe it's the lyrics that point to that "special something" that some of us find in friends, lovers, children, nature, art, music; maybe it's the composition, maybe it's the vocals...I dunno. But here it is anyway. Everybody's looking for that something One thing that makes it all complete You find it in the strangest places Places you never knew it could be Some find it in the face of their children Some find it in their lover's eyes Who can deny the joy it brings When you found that special thing You're flying without wings Some find it sharing every morning Some in their solitary lives You find it in the words of others A simple line can make you laugh or cry You find it in the deepest friendship The kind you cherish all your life And when you know how much that means You've found that special thing You're flying without wings So impossible as they may seem You've got to fight for every dream 'Cause who's to know Which one you let go Would have made you complete Well, for me it's waking up beside you To watch the sunrise on your face To know that I can say I love you In any given time or place It's little things that only I know Those are the things that make you mine And it's like flying without wings 'Cause you're my special thing I'm flying without wings And you're the place my life begins And you'll be where it ends I'm flying without wings And that's the joy you bring I'm flying without wings

" Everything I do, I do it for you " by Bryan Adams https://youtu.be/7u-L243mzfI My fave part of the lyrics: " Don't tell me it's not worth fighting for. I can't help it, there's nothing I want more. You know it's true. Everything I do, I do it for you " 💗

It's difficult because I love very different styles of music and songs! But this one of Incubus has been with me many maaaany years, It relaxes me so much! Just the first verse... (And now, add that hyptonic rhythm... I'm floating down a river Oars freed from their homes long ago Lying face up on the floor Of my vessel I marvel at the stars And feel my heart overflow https://youtu.be/3k0-sGqxIiQ

The All American Rejects- Move Along When all you got to keep is strong Move along, move along like I know you do And even when your hope is gone Move along, move along just to make it through Move along Ok, so anything i listen to reflects my mood for the day. One day it can be classical, the next heavy metal. But every time i feel a sense of hopelessness or failure i pull this one up. The lyrics are self explanatory...and it has a kick ass opening drum sequence....🤘 https://youtu.be/XleOkGsYgO8

I'm writing a poem for the Lovelies and you, G, set to this, which I hope I will post soon. It speaks to me of flight and light and rebirth. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MK-lwIGwp9Y

A classic comfort song: Ooh child https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gIsj8VxQNkw Things are gonna be easier Ooh child Things'll be brighter Some day, yeah We'll put it together and we'll get it undone Some day When your head is much lighter Some day, yeah We'll walk in the rays of a beautiful sun Some day When the world is much brighter

Don’t worry be happy - Bobby McFerrin https://youtu.be/d-diB65scQU “In every life we have some trouble But when you worry you make it double Don't worry, be happy.” Three little birds - Bob Marley “Singin: don't worry bout a thing, Cause every little thing gonna be all right. Singin: don't worry (dont worry) bout a thing, Cause every little thing gonna be all right!” https://youtu.be/zaGUr6wzyT8 Obvious choices...but these two songs have gotten me through some shit in the past. 💗💗

Lovely song, Gael, watched Tarzan yesterday und that song made me cry. Here's my choice for today: Blinding lights - the weekend https://youtu.be/fHI8X4OXluQ I been tryna call I been on my own for long enough Maybe you can show me how to love, maybe I'm going through withdrawals You don't even have to do too much You can turn me on with just a touch, baby

Dinolaurier

I love Disney songs!!!

Stephanie Drage

Boats and Birds- Gregory and the Hawk is a favorite of mine. A lot of the music I listen to is slightly depressing but that song kind of feels like a warm hug after a really bad panic attack and nulls the hot sharp stings you feel in your chest during one just a bit, which is enough to catch your breath. "I live to let you shine." Feels like a guardian angel. https://youtu.be/hn4EIv1-uz0 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Edit: I thought about these three at work last night. I do my best to be the entertainment for my coworkers and get most joy out of making them laugh. They know me well enough to know I'm in a good mood if I'm singing, and these 4 songs are some of my all time favorites to sing when I'm having a bad day. If I can make 1 person smile and laugh per day, I know I am living my life correctly. Even if that one person sometimes has to be myself. Enjoy the Ride by Moorcheba. "Stop chasing shadows, just enjoy the ride" https://youtu.be/YUPA0C60YDE ---------------- Wonderful by Gary Go "'Cause we are all miracles, Wrapped up in chemicals, We are incredible. Don't take it for granted, no, We are all miracles. Ooh, we are. Say "I Am", Say "I Am", Say "I Am Wonderful". Ooh, you are." https://youtu.be/DRmFQGFH0yE ------------- Blame by Air Traffic Controller "Don't blame. Get on your feet. Enough "Poor me!" If you've got time to bitch and whine then there's still time to try again." https://youtu.be/y46uRo4-WZI

I tend to listen to instrumental music when everything gets a bit too much. "A Walk" by Tycho is what I chose. https://youtu.be/mehLx_Fjv_c I was able to see Tycho live and I cried when this song came on. It's such a beautiful song.

"Be Like the Kettle and Sing" by Vera Lynn https://youtu.be/k9en3IX5tAc ~When all the skies are grey and it's a rainy day Think of the birdies in spring When your up to your neck in hot water Be like the kettle and sing~ This song has gotten me through many a sad, stressful times. Hope you all like it too!

Lynn

Oh good lord, Gael! You chose that song, it’s my favourite because my mother told me to listen to it when I missed her, before I came to live to Ireland. I miss her so much! The song that is helping me to cope with the quarantine is “beautiful now” by zedd. You guys should watch it’s video. It’s amazing!

Ludmilita

G, you have no idea how much I needed this right now - thank you so much! 😭 Your kindness is highly appreciated 🤗❤ Stay healthy you all!

This song always warms my heart, it's the song I sang to my son when he came into this world. Sunshine by Nazareth Sunshine, every single day Helps to light my way And darlin', right before my eyes It don't come as no surprise That it's easy Easy lovin' you And baby, 'til you came along There was always something wrong Around me There was emptiness of course But it's alright And it's easy Easy lovin' you https://youtu.be/TRNL3QOLT2Q
