It's truly incredible what can be achieved when we set our minds to things.. I love that approach to New Years resolutions!! I've often thought about picking up the guitar but I've hesitated... I played piano for a number of years then moved to woodwinds and some percussion.. it's hard to pick a fav. Oh god yes about the cold and the rain and the snow! I haven't actually experienced autumn weather since 2018, bc I went on an exchange in Souteast Asia last year (the heat turned me to soup). Now I can see the autumn leaves come forth and my body is. so. ready! I want a five meter long scarf around me, I will watch all of the old horror movies (especially those with my bae Vincent Price), I will drink 20 cups of tea every day, I'll listen to every version there is of 'Tis Autumn, and I'll shove a whole pumpkin up my arse! Very wholesome "rant". Kind of inspired me to pick up my own, very unused guitar again. Find some PJ Harvey songs to learn. You’ve only picked up guitar since January? Shut the front door, you’re doing a smash-up job! Just before the 13 min mark your finger work sounds both smooth and quick-something about that bit must be sitting well with your brain. I gave a quick “woot!” earlier when I first saw this post and now that I’ve had a chance to listen and hear the request for feedback on the mic the only thing notable for me was around the 5 min mark; there’s some sort of rumble/vibration noise I pick up. Or it could be my ear drum is rattling and I’m not bright enough to realize it as such. 50/50 odds there would be fair. Anyways-congrats again!

"I Will" by the Beatles was his song for me. Life separated us from the time I was 6-18. We are definitely best friends again. About last year, he found a little note I slipped in his guitar that I named Lucy Boots. All that time later. I named my company Lucy Boots Media. It's the imperfections that make a song beautiful. Temperatures dropped from like 30°C to 17°C here within a few days, and I already got my hot water bottle ready 😂 I have a funny story for you, too: I spend a lot of time in a tiny village, my family has a house there, and the guy who looks after the garden when we're not there reminds me so much of the people you tell us about. Last time he came over for a chat, he told us about the goat they had when he was a kid. It wore a collar and was chained to a pole in the garden so it could roam around but not run away. He was kind of a wild boy and when his mom went out groceries shopping, she would untie the goat and chain him up with the goat's collar 😂
