But time, events, and circumstance
Took me away from you my friend.
But I have to say from where I sit,
you've never seemed so tall.
I never realized how strong you were
Now I can see it all.
I want you to know I'm proud of you
and all you've come to be.
And as you walk through this life
you'll carry a piece of me.

I lost my sister a couple years ago and while we weren’t close, she was always by my side when it mattered, when I lost her, I felt like I’d lost a piece of myself. I’d been grieving hard for the past few years and part of me just wished I could talk to her one last time, just hear and feel her there for me, one last time. This really felt like you spoke the words she never got to tell me so thank you G. 💛
