Update

Hey, guys!

First things first, thank you for supporting me these two and a half years, it means the world to me. I’ve come so far thanks to you, and now I’d like to go even farther than before.

It’s been a shit year so far, so I’d like to go on an official hiatus and to finally take a break; despite how much I love this shit, it’s been taking a toll on my mental health, and I really-really need to just go asap for a few months.

I bet some of you guys were waiting for this kind of a post since the shit hit the fan, so here it finally is. As you know, I’m practically money-less, but I decided to keep on supporting Patreon just because and out of convenience; this needs to change, cuz I need them monies to exist. I’ve made a Boosty page a couple weeks ago (https://boosty.to/shinglescat), and from now on I’m going to be posting mods there exclusively; the Boosty page also allows for Discord access, and you need it anyways for the facial animations, so please use it instead of Patreon.
While on hiatus, I won’t turn off the subscriptions since you may want to get access to whatever mods I’ve on the server.

About commissions: commissions are coming in a couple of months after I get my shit together. This time, I want to lean into them more heavily than ever, so I’ve no clue if I’ll be able to cram in the head port stuff. Updated price list coming later, and the one on my Tumblr is no longer valid.

After the hiatus, I want to distance myself from Skyrim even farther. I plan to switch over to UE5, but I will still offer support to that ancient shit-piss of a game as long as I can. No, this doesn’t mean I’ll leave the Argonia team, I’ll be publishing the assets I make for them anyways, I just want to finally move on to something better after 10 years of modding the game.
Also, porting shit sucks, so I’d like to go scratch-made assets full-time instead, but for a better engine. Maybe even DAZ, who knows. Subscription model stays, won’t be selling assets separately.

Depending on how the life goes, I may or may not abandon Patreon altogether. I’d rather not, but FUCK ME, the luck of being born here.

Aight, so TLDR:

• I love you all, even the assholes. I’m grateful to where you got me and I’m grateful for all the friends I got along the way.
• Life sucks, I need a break after two and a half years of head ports non-stop, so I’m going on a few months long hiatus.
• Also, I forgot to mention that I’ll be moving, so yeah, hiatus will come in handy anyways.
• While inactive, I’m not turning off the subscriptions if you ever need access to my Discord server for whatever mods you want.
• Also, I made a Boosty page (https://boosty.to/shinglescat), I urge you to use sub there instead of Patreon.
• All future releases are going to be Boosty exclusives ‘cause I need monies.
• Commissions coming in full after hiatus.
• Updated price list coming later, Tumblr commission page prices are invalid as of now.
• I’m planning on making a switch to UE5 and I’m planning on distancing myself away from Skyrim after ten years of modding it
• This doesn’t mean I’ll abandon it altogether, I’ll still offer some support, likely assets for the Argonia team.
• If the life continues to suck, I’ll probably pull the plug on Patreon, tho I’d rather really not.
