September - October Overview

What do I mean by it didn't treat us well? Having to split time between the website updates, Patreon and now the new Unity build, things are getting very backlogged. The Unity build is progressing well and we will have more to show this month. Some preview pics have been posted to Twitter and shown during art streams, but we'll be able to go into more detail here.
The reason for having to move on to a Unity build so quickly is that with websites moving away from supporting Flash, and with all the issues we're currently experiencing with Chrome now the only browser that we can successfully help people manually activate Flash, we're quickly running out of options for keeping HTH available. Unity is the best way for us to keep this project moving forward. Fortunately we've been slowly moving things over for the past couple of years, which some of you may have noticed in the background updates, but HTH is a lot more than backgrounds, and we're currently working on getting everything ready to have a fully functioning build in Unity.
As far as the rest of the votes, we could scrap September, which would eliminate the confusion of having back to back votes this month, or we could try to cram two months together to get everything done. We're open to feedback on this issue, since it's your votes and suggestions, but we're leaning towards moving on to October, but if people really want to have both months votes go up, we'll figure out a way to make it all work.
In regards to keys, I was unavailable this week and my helper is a bit preoccupied, so I may not have keys released until Monday, or Tuesday at the very latest. This won't effect the length of time, everyone will still get a full month, we're just delayed in sending them out.
We are really sorry about September. We're trying to get a handle on the added workload and as the months progress things should get easier.

Yeah, focus on the Unity Build. It doesn't make sense to make content for flash that you'll immediately have to rework into Unity. Not a programmer or digital artist, but that seems like doubling your workload for little gain.

I would suggest to move everything over to unity first then continue working so it doesn't feel like you are juggling work between flash and unity. I feel like it would be a worth while investment. I don't mind waiting a little extra for the quality you have produced and keep producing.

2017-10-07 09:40:15 +0000 UTCHey you know, it's not a problem. I've seen the amazing work with Unity and especially getting Rio in as the first one. Then with the problem of those trees and textures being lost during that stream was a pain. Sometimes technology and programs can be a bitch and they don't give you the reason why they do the things they do when it comes to those unexplained glitches. I think also since it's been so stressful/ busy it would be best to move on ahead to October votes instead and save those other votes for another time. I really hope this month for Rose she gets a new scene, maybe an oral on her scene. Or maybe finally a scene for Natasha if you've managed to figure out how to make her work.
