I think the biggest reason for defensive quality decay in the league is the widespread degeneration in refereeing after the overt need to protect superstardom and all eventual deficiencies of superstars and the covert one of furthering the fostering of cognitive dissonance through and into players through what looks like the typical systematic and willing war against manhood, with refereeing decisions, specifically pertaining the defensive aspect, always tailored to diminish the defender knowledge of his job and his intellect; and with the natural consequence of players gradually knowing less and lesser how to defend against an unregularly bulldozing Chi-Kilo Neeloh or a shoulder charging Lequitter Blames, resorting to cheating ways like those to get charges which referees weren't obviously ready to interpret and who got tricked into unofficially changing the rule after the new custom. And so on and so forth. If one takes a philosophical approach and analyzes the premises that should justify a referee even only being there, he would surely understand how wicked the whole thing is and how it is set up just to perform the usual masculinity demolition social engineering agenda, being the way it is. That is all referees do. So players can no longer play any consistently decent defense cause the rules change at any single occasion at any referee's discretion. It became more and more ridiculous as years went by (with a minimum improvement this year after the reshaping of a couple of insanely interpreted rules) and I think this is the main reason for how allegedly bad defense has became nowadays in the league

I find it funny that when the Lakers played against the better teams, he would sit out… but come back to play against the teams HE felt he could beat. This man is a coward.

Dallas is definitely a dark house favorite. Dinwhitty has been spectacular off the bench. I like what I see from that PG Brunsun.. he got a Kyle Lowry bulldog style that’s pretty effective in the playoffs. The Grizzlies are just too young imo. They do play extremely hard tho... they remind me a lot of the ‘18 Celtics. Speaking of the Celtics, they’re my favorites to challenge MIL in the conference finals. Depending on how long their defensive anchor, Williams is out... but the Celtics are 1st in almost every defensive metric this season. The Nets acheleies heel is depending on 1 on 1 plays down the stretch. It’ll be interesting as to what PHX can do w/o CP3 if he doesn’t come back, bc they were on a 9 game win streak recently.

He mostly sits out vs team w good centers.. philly, Utah, etc. What’s crazy to me is... he sat out a couple games before the ASG wit the knee issue.. then u was watching the ASG, and he put up like the 6 out of 8 shots up for his team. He pulled a couple deep 3s that missed. He tried some fancy ish around the rim and missed as well.. then he just started cherry picking.. doing crazy dunks.. like I thought this dude knee hurt? then I realized the game was in CLE.. I said “this dude is really tryna stat pad an ASG” anyways, once Steph started to get hot; he realized he wouldn’t get MVP so he was tryna feed Steph after that. But go look at the stats. Him and Steph put up the most attempts, only Steph was actually hittin.. Brons FG percentage was under 50% in a damn ASG 🥴🥴
