That is not true. Crawford said haymon has worked with the hedge fund before and even offered a sit down. If Spence/PBC did not believe Crawford then why not call their bluff. At least meet for the sit down and weight the legitimacy of the offer. Common sense. Spence turned down 25 mill because PBC never had any intention of making the fight to risk their cash cow Spence considering they already lost Wilder. They need some type of โstarโ power AND THE BELTS to keep them afloat.

I heard the Ali act guarantees transparency of expenditures for the fight which takes care of everything.
Both guys confirmed no guarantee $, just a bigger % for EJ which makes sense.
Bud came to EJ with unknown companies offering them 25 mil each and EJโs response was โwhat about the backend?โโฆsuggests both was projected to make more than $25 mil with the PBC.
EJ also said Bud wasnโt straight up about who was investing the money and behind those companies.
Seems like Bud and his team stalled and never really wanted this fight or just didnโt understand the business of boxing and wasnโt prepared to take a deal like that.
