2021-03-29 19:34:58 +0000 UTCit's super interesting that you like this movie but said you didn't like amazon's the boys because personally i find them really similar in like ideas and themes and stuff! but yeah this movie's great it has one of the best intros tbh with bob dylan in the background of all those amazing snapshots of the (alternate reality) past, it really sticks with you

2021-03-29 04:08:00 +0000 UTCDid you notice that in the opening sequence the comedian is in a picture behind the table that looks a lot like the last supper fresco. He is standing in the picture where John the Babtist is supposed to be in the fresco. John basically predicted the end of Jesus and revelations mirrored in the movie. He also was murdered because of his strong convictions and became a martyr. Dr. Manhattan follows the Jezus arc.
