Hello there!
First of all, I will be making another post shortly with comments on the itch.io situation and about Haven, but for now this post is only about my monthly offering.
First of all, here is the link to the proof of concept: [Link]
So, some months ago I showed a concept I had for a gloryhole game, and people liked it, so when I had this idea, instead of just shelving it, I decided to make a small version of it.
You play as a taxi driver at night.
You will take on passengers and drive them around, earn money and use it to buy gas.
Once the passengers are in your cab, you will be able to chat with them, and if things go well, do a bit more.
You can tell how much they like you because they will get closer to you.
You pick a topic and then something to say about that topic.
For example, if you pick "Sports" you will get these options:

Will the passenger like your opinion? It depends on his personality.
It might be an easy guess if he is wearing a football shirt or a baseball cap, but other opinions will not be so easy to connect.
After all, does a bald person like sunny weather over rainy or eating sweets over savory food?
(Passengers will express their likes with things like their clothes, hats, hairdos and choice of facial hair).
To help you with this, you will have a notepad where our driver will take note of some reactions (just the really good or bad ones), once you match them at least 3 times:

Note: The notepad can't be completely filled at the moment. Since the chart was made with more variations on the passengers in mind that never got to be in the game as it is right now.
I hope you have fun and enjoy this game.
Please let me know if you like me doing these things. I know these games will not be liked by some people, but I think it's fun to make them every now and then.
The game feels a bit rough around the edges (it is after all a concept I made in a short amount of time), but I am really curious about how you all feel about it.
If you are wondering about the palette and the screen resolution. I have been watching videos about PC98 computers from the 90s, so I decided to give a 16-color palette a try...
I think I managed to make it look decent.
Please give me feedback on this.
I really want to know what things you like and dislike, so if I ever make another thing, or if I would even decide to add more content to this I know what direction to take.
Lots of hugs!
