I Got An Exclusive Access to How an OEM+ BMW M5 Engine is Made

Hello, good people!

In between screaming, crying, changing diapers, and not sleeping, I managed to finally edit this beast of a video.

This video is about the S62 engine, which we are going to build for project Skovde.
I want an OEM+ engine that's stronger and more powerful than the stock one, so we are doing a collab with Partee Racing from the US. If you are into the E39 M5 world and/or have been on M5board, you would've heard of Peter.

Once I found out that project Skovde needed a new engine, Peter literally said right away: Let's do an engine together! They've built hundreds of S62s and other M engines, and have a proven recipe that works incredibly well.

Instead of simply ordering parts from him and having them shipped, I thought it'd be fun and a great learning curve to go to their shop in Virginia and film each step of the machining process.

Peter normally doesn't let others assemble his engines, but he is kind enough to let me, well, me and all of you watching, do it ourselves!

Now, the video is very long, and I know it won't be for everyone, and I know it won't get as many views, but despite that, I wanted to make a super nerdy, full of details, and wealth of knowledge video surrounding AluSil blocks and engine building. In any event, please let me know how you like it.

In other news, I've moved everything to the new Dojo and work is officially on the way. We are doing some renovation work over there, and I'll post an update in the upcoming days. Also, the 2nd non-BMW project has been obtained! It's a V8 and it's supercharged!

My dream! What an episode! I was glued to the tv. Always mindblowing how small tolerances are in an engine.
