Three Chapters This Month
Added 2019-01-22 19:22:35 +0000 UTCHello, my lovelies!
Yes, it's been a tough month, and I've realized I'm getting more than a little burned out. I honestly just need a bit of a break to recuperate, get my house in order, and get ready for the year. Did I mention I worked on Christmas morning? I haven't been taking enough honest days off, but I have been missing days—and though it may not feel like it, a good piece of advice I too often forget is, "A missed day is not the same as a day off. The feeling of, 'I should be working right now,' does not allow for relaxation."
I have two chapters finished but unedited, and I still need to write the Bonus Pairing. That'll be the focus for the next nine days—that and taking stock of next month. Luckily, one of those unedited-but-finished chapters is a commission, which helps with the financial hit a three-chapter month necessitates. :)
February will be five chapters, as previously planned. If I miss that, then I'll have to take stock of the whole five-chapter setup. That's part of why I want to take a break—I don't want to start this year off already exhausted.

2019-02-02 17:49:02 +0000 UTCTake all the time you need! I'd much rather have you rested and content then stressed and frayed. You have to take care of yourself first and I am 100 percent on board with that.

2019-01-22 23:55:30 +0000 UTCHi, just speaking for myself, not for other Patrons: I think there have been a lot of apologies since December (?). I don't particularly like this, not because I'm not getting what I paid for, but because I chose to support you primarily as a writer, and the material you write is secondary. There will doubtlessly be Patrons who prefer more chapters but I am MORE THAN OKAY with you reducing it to three chapters for January, especially since you already have a goal for February and a plan for what to do if you fail to meet that goal. We all go through shit in life that plummets our creativity, and we all stand up stronger than we were :) Do take care of yourself and I hope you work things out!
