Dungeons and Dazes: "The Seven Kisses, Pt. 3"
Added 2019-05-11 18:44:33 +0000 UTCIn which the bard puts on a show for some fauns, the bard and ranger get a little tied up by a petulant cherry dryad, and the rogue finds himself alone with the faun he outwitted earlier—and learns that "0 WP" doesn't always mean "totally harmless".
This session was super fun for me to run, though it did require some party-splitting. We were using new rules for Will Points and Arousal to be a bit less harsh and a bit more gradual, and fortunately, the PCs are still every bit as easy as ever—just with less punishment for it!
What I Learned
- The "passive Wisdom save" worked well here. All the victims rolled were Insight checks until they realized what was going on, meaning Elidh just had to beat a 9.
- I forgot to include it in the PDF, but Aeylla and Ricard acquired new Temporary Flaws. These might well turn into permanent Fatal Flaws of some nature, since they willingly submitted to the effects.
"Lovestruck". For the time being, all Mina has to do to get Ricard to do something is ask and make a Persuasion check, which he opposes with a Disadvantaged Will save. He'll do anything for her if she bats her eyelashes. If she's able to touch him (such as with a "good luck kiss", or fondling), he auto-fails this save.
"Cherry Balm"—Aeylla has developed a strong oral fixation and can't help but suck things in front of her unless motivated not to (for instance, a harmless lollipop, sure, but not a snake). She takes Disadvantage on all checks and saves immediately after being kissed.

I wish reading pdf files on a kindle file kept track of what page you were on. I haven't finished reading this yet and forget where i was. Guess I'll just have to start all over again =P

2019-06-04 10:35:00 +0000 UTCI can recommend 5e as it's the most popular edition at the moment, and depending on your country you may have a local Adventurer's League you can play in. Otherwise, Roll20 is not a bad way to start.
