June (and July) Agenda
Added 2019-06-16 21:48:28 +0000 UTCHello, my lovelies! Thanks so much for your patience—I'm finally back! And I have a question for you all! :)
The sickness isn't totally past, but it's basically just a runny nose and a bad cough, so I'm ready to get back to work tomorrow morning. So we've had a pretty bad start for June, but what's on the agenda for the rest of the month?
First, the Dragon vs. Holstaur Bonus Pairing from last month, and the alt-end to Larya vs. Succubus, are still written but unedited! I seriously need to get them edited and posted.
After that, I need to get this month's Bonus Pairing written: Alrek vs. Healer! That's going to be a very fun story.
I'd like to use the rest of this month to work on the Flashfic Compilation (and draw the map of the Lacration Continent), and maybe write a few new flashfics, too. I've also got a couple games to run! June, in this case, can be more of a "cleanup" month. In July, we can turn to getting some of the last comms/promised stories rolling through—the adventures of a goblin maid's hapless husband, an adventurer's struggles against a holstaur's menagerie of fey friends, the doppelganger thief vs. rakshasi story, and the gamebook!
What do you think, though? Should I focus June on writing more full chapters, or on getting the flashfics compiled into a PDF and re-released for everyone?
Comments
I'm hoping to have it done by the end of the month—just trying to focus on the compilation for now!

2019-06-27 15:18:02 +0000 UTCHey! How far out would you guess the AltEnd of Prince's Bride chapter 2 is? I wish you the best of health!

2019-06-27 11:49:39 +0000 UTCPlans haven't changed at this time! I've just been working on editing and constructing the compilation. The AltEnd will actually be up tomorrow morning—I just need to get the computer up and running to make the PDF. :)

2019-06-25 21:56:45 +0000 UTCHi, do you think to post something before the next payment cycle?

2019-06-25 16:00:12 +0000 UTCI have no real suggestions as to what you should do but I'm glad you're mostly doing better.

2019-06-20 00:11:05 +0000 UTCI'm sure your editing process likely involves plenty of content as well as simple grammar/clarity, but I'm always happy to help edit if it's the latter! Editing others' work is fun for me in that it's always given me the motivation to work on my OWN writing (plus, it would be a rewarding way to give back to my favorite smut writer on the planet).

2019-06-17 15:02:01 +0000 UTCVery Glade your feeling better. I am good for either choice for this month. Either full chapters or Flashfics

2019-06-17 03:39:05 +0000 UTCDefinitely flashfics. Somehow I can still see the ones I’d reblogged, but there’s so many good ones I’m missing! Amazon Kindle is a good platform if you’re interested in selling the compilation as an e-book: smut friendly and there’s a way to include a search function of sorts (I think by making each one a chapter)

2019-06-17 03:01:38 +0000 UTCFlashfics seem the smartest thing to do. They'd be able to both give an injection of cash with minimal effort and tide over fans. Apparently Gumroad accepts publications of ebooks as well, though their search function is crap. Also, if you don't feel like manually drawing the map, I've found Inkarnate a handy tool for map creation.

2019-06-17 01:28:59 +0000 UTCI'm going for the Flashfics. I've been missing them fiercely.

2019-06-16 23:18:52 +0000 UTCYes, there are a LOT of stories that I'd like to be able to re-release.

2019-06-16 22:19:56 +0000 UTCI haven't noticed that yet! Still returning. But I got paid and I'm not banned, so I think smut writers are safe for now. We really need an alternative to this awful site, though. :(

2019-06-16 22:19:09 +0000 UTCI'll throw in a vote for flash-fics. It could be a nice change of pace, and it'll be nice to read them again.
