Repaired mod for gamepatch 1.110.265
HOTFIX
This update fixes what broke in gamepatch 1.110.265 that dropped Oct 22th 2024.
This was the only one of my mods that needed to be repaired and updated from the patch, Basemental Gangs, Basemental Gambling, Universal Venue List and the other mods are still unscathed and safe to use.
Venue List
To make sure this mod works you need to download the updated Basemental Drugs venue list provided in this post. I recommend installing this venue list in a separate folder directly in your Mods folder called: Basemental Venue List. I also recommend updating it whenever there is a new mod version out as I constantly add in new custom venue compatibility from other mod authors.
Choose one of these 2 installation methods. Not both.
Basemental Drugs Installer (WINDOWS ONLY)
Delete all the old Basemental Drugs files from your Mods folder.*
Download this Basemental Drugs.exe file.
Run the Basemental Drugs.exe file.
Choose which Optional Packages you want included.
Delete your localthumbcache.package
* If you installed from the installer previously, you can delete the old files by launching the file called unins000.exe in your Basemental Drugs folder.
Basemental Drugs Zip (WINDOWS OR MAC)
Delete all the old Basemental Drugs files from your Mods folder.
Download the Basemental Drugs zip file.
Unzip the Basemental Drugs zip file.
Place the files in a folder titled Basemental Drugs in your Mods folder.
Delete the Basemental Drugs zip file.
Delete your localthumbcache.package

2024-11-15 01:55:15 +0000 UTCHi, i keep getting this BE: "utilities\logging\version_handling.py\version_handling.py" i then looked at the BE report and found ".\BasementalDrugs_7.18.222-PATREON\Basemental\utilities\logging\version_handling.py\version_handling.py" and a couple others logs that are similar. so i then removed this mod and reopened my game and the error is gone. i know i updated this mod recently. would you be able to tell me whats happening? or could i send you the full report somehow? sorry for the long msg.

If you are in a criminalized region you won't see a lot of NPC's smoking weed outside either way. I feel it would be a bit silly and not very realistic if everyone that normally doesn't smoke weed suddenly smoked weed in the streets on 420

What I mean for example: Sacrificial mod has a killing holiday and if you leave your lot you will see NPC’s going around killing to meet the requirements for the holiday. So on the 420 holiday will I see NPC’s smoking weed?

2024-11-04 05:28:52 +0000 UTCIf you click on a sim and hit basemental, 'settings' should pop up! Click on that! There are a few options but scroll until you see 'reactions' and select that! It'll give you a few more options that you can choose from, i usually deselect all of them. i hope this made sense!

2024-11-02 18:28:32 +0000 UTCI haven't had this problem, but I'm looking through Scarlet's Realm (a site that helps you find what mods have been update, compatible, or broken) and I saw that the Venue List has been updated 11/01/2024 - Maybe try replacing that one? EDIT: It also says Drugs has had a last status change 10/23/2024, Gangs & Gambling 10/24/2024. So maybe there was an update that we just didn't notice? EDIT AGAIN: Nvm, I redownloaded to compare and it's the same ones as the latest ones (minus the venue's because the date modification when you download changes to whenever you download it)

The builds I made are still there but all my sims are corrupted. I've updated the mods and keep trying to recover different saves but nothing is working.
