Quick tip & trick from the palette

Great hearing it is useful. Also it works differently with different paint brands, as you mentioned - some become more chalkier. Some become glossy, etc... :)

I use scalecolor and scale Fantasy and Games mostly, and I do find that they’re chalkier even after mixing with water/medium after being on the wet palette for a while. This is useful, in the future i’ll use fresh paints for important parts of the mini!

hehe, well it really depends on personal preferences. You can see the video of exercise results where I mix the Paints. You can notice that if I take more of the certain paint I need to add more of others to make the tone I want. In my daily painting I don't have exact plan on what tone I want - I just play with many tones I get from the paints I choose. Therefore you can notice a lot of small amounts of tones everywhere around. 😇👌

Do you have any tricks for when mixing the colours on your pallet? I find that I tend to get big areas with mixes and multiple compared to your pallet in your videos. Do you have a specific approach or is it just what feels natural to you to have small and few mixing areas on the pallet?

Thank you Aaron. :)

Thank you

First wait for some time (around hour, more or less depending on how much paint you have and how long have it been under moisture influence) then mix it with your brush to have all the medium and pigment that can be separated combine again. And then you can use it again. (You can use it before but it will be too diluted and probably the pigments won't connect to the surface best) - this all can vary again based on climate (room temperature and moisture, etc). But still it will work again after the moisture from the Paint dries. This is tip for Scale Artist paints. Different paints react differently. :)

So mix the two day old together properly, then wait 1hr to use?
